Sea buckthorn is an unusual shrub because it has so many health-promoting ingredients like no other.

It contains as many as 190 bioactive substances, i.e.
• 14 vitamins (vitamins C A, E, F, K, P, B12);
• 11 micronutrients (including iron, calcium, potassium, aluminum, silicon);
• 18 amino acids;
• 22 fatty acids;
• antioxidants;
• 42 lipids;

In particular, it is rich in large amounts of vitamin C. It contains three times more than blackcurrant! Only wild rose surpasses sea buckthorn in terms of vitamin C content. By eating 100 g of sea buckthorn, we supplement the daily requirement for this vitamin with a large amount. It is worth making sea buckthorn preserves with the addition of other fruits, e.g. wild rose or apples, preserves or juices, because
