Lower blepharoplasty, 5 weeks post-op.

Lower blepharoplasty is powerful adjunct ro deep plane surgery. Patients often think that the appearance of the bags along with a deep tear trough make them look tired. When the orbital fat herniates and protrudes, only surgery can be this effective.
Adding volume only to the undereyes, whether filler or fat, it only camouflage the issue and can also cause many other problems.

This lovely 46 year old lady underwent a tranconjuctival lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning, as part of a multi-procedure deep plane rejuvenation. The tear trough was released and the her orbital fat was repositioned to smooth out the contour. The was no additional fat gtafring, just repositioning. At the same time I performed a skin excision with a skin flap technique.

Kevin is now 7 months after surgery!

People that have been following this page probably remember this 60 year-old gent who has very generously shared his surgical journey.

He is now 7 months after deep plane face&Neck lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty and fat grafting.

This is a good representation of my work and vision in male facial aesthetics. The changes are noticeable but nothing looks overcorrected or pulled. The facial masculinity is maintained and the scars are totally inconspicuous.

Browlift and upper blepharoplasty , 1 year after.

Browlift is regaining popularity, and its role in facial rejuvenation is now better understood. Terms such as brow reshape, reset, or contouring are more accurate in describing what exactly we aim to accomplish with this procedure.

In this specific case, this young lady had notable lateral hooding and lack of tarsal platform show. The browlift has corrected the lateral heaviness and improved the brow shape from straight to a more feminine arch.
In addition to the browlift, a volume preservation and muscle sparring upper blepharoplasty was carried out at the same time. Careful redraping of the upper eyelid fat pads as opposed to fat removal is key in avoiding hollow eyelids. Removing fat in young patients will most likely result in an "A frame" deformity as they age.

This Kevin, 3 months after his surgery.

You have probably seen in my posts this lovely 60 year old gent, who underwent an extended deep plane surgery, 3 months ago. At the same setting with the face and neck, I also performed upper and lower blepharoplasty and a touch of fat grafting.

It was great to see how well he looks at this stage, although the swelling is still a work in progress.

Kevin has been a dream patient, followed strictly all our recommendations and also so generous with sharing many parts of his journey.

Deep plane Face and Neck lift at early 40s.
This is quite common in my practice and a group of patients that I really enjoy operating on. The changes are not dramatic and the healing process can be smoother👌

Deep plane surgery is becoming a popular treatment for patients who have started noticing some laxity on the face and neck area, and they may have already experienced little improvement from non- surgical options. The reason is quite obvious; natural, fresher and smoother faces without signs of surgery. Mini facelifts will never produce results like this.

This lovely 42 year old lady is now 5 months after her deep plane face and neck lift. The reason she opted for surgery is more clear on the pictures where she flexes her neck.

I do recognise the difference in the lighting and make up on the before and afters but I hope you can still appreciate the improvements. The last picture shows the scar under the chin used for the neck lift.

2 months after Deep plane surgery.

A big part of my practice involves operating on patients below 50, and sometimes as young as early 40s. Although this is considered a young age for facelift surgery, there are definitely some great advantages in doing so.

This lovely 44 year old lady had an extended deep plane face and neck lift 2 months ago, and she is doing really well. Still some swelling present around her neck but that's normal at this stage.

I previously carried out a subtle lip lift with a browlift, and after a few months later she decided that it was time for a full face refresh!

I am grateful for her generosity in allowing me to share her results 🙏

I am now off to Cartagena for an exciting week at the annual meeting 😎😃

Lip Lift result, 6 weeks after.

Balance and proportions are key elements for a successful lip lift. One of the biggest concerns for patients considering this procedure is the overlifted central lip, which is often associated with mouth closure problems.

The lovely young lady in the pictures would have been a perfect example of this type of unnatural look, should a traditional bullhorn approach had been used. Instead, I carried out an asymmetrical bullhorn, with more tissue taken on the side, as well as a combination of an internal and a vermillion corner lip lift.

She does wear makeup, however the scars are looking pretty good for 6 weeks and her nose is nearly back to normal 😀

6 months after Deep plane face&Neck lift.

Back to work after a break, and I am delighted to share the results of this beautiful 60 year old lady. She had a long non-surgical journey, which included threads, ultrasound, radio-frequency, fillers, and fat dissolving injections to her neck.

Despite the surgery being extended and complex, the long-term results are super natural, and it's nearly impossible to spot any signs of surgery on her face and neck. She just looks fresher, smoother, younger, and happier 😀
