Celebrating 7 years of Dr. Magill… and what a journey it’s been ✨

Ever since I could walk and talk, I wanted to be a doctor. Graduating from Medical School felt like that dream had come true- the start of the life I worked so hard for.

I started as an F1 - excited to throw myself into whatever medicine had in store. With big dreams of becoming a surgeon, I spent a couple of amazing years in plastic surgery, learning precision, decision making and managing patient expectations. People often quote the fine motor skills as most transferable, but the interpersonal skills I learnt have been by far the most valuable.

Then, life threw a curve ball. As it often does.⁣
⁣
I found myself drawn to aesthetics; what started as curiosity turned into more. The last 3 years became full-time aesthetics, and full-on growth: professionally, personally, and emotionally. I’ve built a career I love, and a life I love too, highlighting the joy you can find when work and life are balanced.

It hasn’t always been linear, or easy, or what I thought it would look like. But I wouldn’t change a thing.⁣
