The day after drinking your body experiences chemical imbalances which can make you feel the symptoms of mild or severe anxiety. And it’s not surprising! Too much cortisol - the stress hormone, a glutamine rebound (a spike in one our bodies natural stimulants) and low levels of gaba (gamma-aminobutyric acid) which promotes feelings of calmness and relaxation. Couple with that the fact you’re probably tired and de-hydrated, you’ve got yourself a recipe for a tough day.

Since it is plastic free July we thought we would mention that all our packaging is, yep, you guessed it, plastic free! Almost entirely compostable (and where that’s not possible it is recyclable) and it is all plant based, even the ink. Yay!

I suspect if you have ever experienced it you will have an idea. A recent study showed that 28% of people in the UK have experienced hangxiety at some point or regularly over the last year.

Was the score worth the sore head?

Anybody else been watching the football? We are not experts but we found the game last night a little underwhelming. Thank goodness for nice cold drinks and good company. All was not lost!
