🍪✨ National Chocolate Chip Day Fun! ✨🍪

This day was all about cookies, smiles, and sweet memories at Barnet Grange care home! 🏡💛

We rolled up our sleeves and got baking — and wow, did the place smell AMAZING! 😍👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 From mixing the dough to sneaking a few chocolate chips 🍫 (shhh! 🤫), everyone got involved and had an absolute blast!

Nothing brings people together like warm, homemade cookies and lots of laughter. ❤️🥣

🛍️👗👕 POP-UP SHOP TODAY! 👠👜🧥
We brought the retail therapy straight to the heart of our residential care home — and what a FABULOUS day it was! 💃🛒

Residents shopped ’til they dropped, browsing through beautiful womenswear, menswear, clothing & accessories. 💍👒👞 The smiles said it all — fashion, fun & feel-good moments all around! 😍✨

🇯🇲🎉 Jamaican Independence Day Celebrations at Barnet Grange! 🎉🇯🇲

What a vibrant and joyful afternoon we had celebrating Jamaican Independence Day at Barnet Grange! ❤️💛💚

🍽️ Our amazing chef prepared a spread of delicious traditional Jamaican food – full of flavour and love!
🍹 The fabulous Corrina from our Wellbeing Team served up tasty piña coladas that brought the island vibes to life!
🎶 The incredible Patrick from Care Entertainment had everyone moving with a live reggae show – pure energy and fun! 🕺💃

📸 Everyone got involved – residents and staff alike posed for fun photo sessions with colourful props! 😄
🥃 As requested by our residents, we served up a cheeky rum shot – it was a hit!
📖 We also took time to reflect on the history of Jamaican Independence, bringing meaning to the celebration.

A big THANK YOU to our residents, staff, entertainers, and Wellbeing Team for creating such an unforgettable day.
Together, we brought the sunshine, music, and spirit of Jamaica to Barnet Grange!

🍉✨ Happy ! ✨🍉

This weekend at Barnet Grange, we celebrated this juicy and refreshing day with a mouthwatering watermelon spread 🍽️ – beautifully prepared by our talented chef 👨‍🍳💚

Residents enjoyed chilled watermelon slices, mini fruit skewers, and even a watermelon sorbet treat! 😋🍧

🕰️ A Little History: Watermelon has been enjoyed for over 5,000 years — first cultivated in Africa, and eventually becoming a summer staple across the world. It’s not just delicious, it’s hydrating and packed with vitamins too! 💦🍉

So we raised a slice to good health, sweet memories, and all things summer! ☀️🌿

🌞 Day Trip Delight! 🚌
Our residents had a lovely day out at Hatfield House! 🏰💐

They enjoyed a stroll through the stunning gardens, explored the rich history of the estate — once the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I 👑 — and took in the beauty of the grand house itself.

🧁🥪 A spot of lunch gave them time to relax and chat, followed by a little browse through the lovely gift shops full of treasures and treats! 🛍️✨
