It’s rarely the meals that stall fat loss.

Holy SHIIIIIIIIIIIT! 👀

This is my beautiful client Kelly is not only one of the coolest ladies ever but she is CRUSHING her journey in The Self Love Club. Officially 30lbs down, post-partum, back at work and navigating life and all its curve balls with an amazing positive attitude!

When she first reached out, she was on mat leave and felt totally out of sync with herself. Tired, overwhelmed, and unsure how to rebuild any kind of routine when her days revolved around nappies, naps, and survival mode. And what she wanted was to feel strong, confident, and capable agan, without sacrificing time with her kids or her sanity.

Fast forward and the shift has been huge.
So much so that she recently did a confidence photoshoot something she never would have felt ready for before. That alone speaks volumes about how different she feels in her body now.

Her progress didn’t come from extremes.
No cutting out carbs. No hours in the gym. No chasing perfection. Kelly still lives a cheeky margs like me. 😉 It came from learning how to look after herself in a way that fits real life using my CBC Method, created for busy mums who don’t have the luxury of endless time or energy.

What you do after 8pm can directly influence your sleep quality, blood sugar regulation, decision-making and fat loss especially for women over 40.

Evenings are when your nervous system should be shifting from sympathetic (go mode) to parasympathetic (rest and repair).Late eating, constant stimulation and lack of structure keep cortisol elevated and digestion working when your body should be recovering.

These habits aren’t about restriction,they’re about physiology:

• Planning reduces cognitive load and improves follow-through
• Prepping lowers morning stress and decision fatigue
• A light reset of your environment supports nervous system regulation
• Earlier food cut-offs can improve insulin sensitivity and sleep quality
• Reading reduces blue-light exposure and supports melatonin release

None of this is dramatic. But done consistently, it compounds. If fat loss feels harder than it used to, look at how you’re ending your day, not just what you’re eating or training.
