Release your upper traps this Halloween! 💪🎃

Feeling haunted by tightness or tension in your neck and traps? Try these 3 simple exercises to relieve those stubborn upper traps!

1️⃣ Chin retractions and extension 2x5-8. Make sure you’re sitting up straight and use muscles in the front of the neck

2️⃣ Trigger roll - follow the line from the tip of the shoulder to base of the skull. 2 minutes each side

3️⃣ Scalene stretch. Hold the base of the neck then press your ear up to the ceiling and tilt your head. repeat 10 times on each side

Remember, ease into each move and listen to your body. Save this post to revisit these stretches whenever you need a quick upper trap or neck release 🙌

Ready to power up those joints? Here are Liam’s top recommendations to keep your knees strong and sturdy:

* Sissy Squats – 2/3x 5-10
* Banded Spanish Squats – 2/3x 12-15
* Rear-foot Loaded Bulgarian Split Squats – 3x6- 8each side
* Barbell Rollouts – 1min each side
