The practice of trust

Life happened, a piece of broken glass, one moment all was in place, the next one a tendon on my foot was gone. I felt scared, I was in pain, fear wanted to cripple in and I chose to trust. I asked myself, What if?

What if the universe is gifting me a pause? What if now is time to rest? What if my body can fully heal? What if I will walk stronger?What if this is redirection? What if I get to deprogram what no longer serves ? What if I grow ? What if I allow myself to receive? What if I can ask for help? What if allowing my family to care for me at this time is a Jodorowski’s psicomagic act to heal residual trauma and wounds in our relationship? What if I can read all the books? What if I learn to play the Gong? What if this is the time for yoga ?

Let’s what if the good s**t .

Grateful for all the love and support received from my family, and friends.
Grateful to my amazing surgeon and to all the wonderful team of nurses and carers that have looked after me so well, back home recovering now.

For me , The yoga practice it’s about it creating intimacy, mostly with oneself, the more intrinsically we know ourselves , the more intimacy with self and the more connected we feel, to ourselves and to every other being we encounter/interact and establish a relationship with in any form.

It’s about deepening that connection, as a continuous conversation and interaction with all our parts . Finding internal organisation, directing the awareness of the mind in the self, in awe, in reverence , in full acceptance and in love to our inner universe.

I keep on being continuously marvelled at this process and practice

Hola, there are a few of you new to my page, so it feels a great moment to re introduce myself to you all.

I am Lucia, Spanish born London based Yoga teacher with 5 + years of experience, and over 900h accumulated of YTT , my lineage is Ashtanga, Rocket, Mandala Vinyasa and Yin , I feel beyond grateful and privileged to have learned from all my teachers , and to now dedicate myself fully to facilitate this practice to others and being of service.

I believe in the power of the practice as means of transforming one self and one’s life , and I am passionate in helping and supporting others on their own individual journeys .

As I continue to walking my own path and committing to show up fully and daily for myself , I also want to show up more in this space , sharing parts of my journey, my practice and my inner musings.

May we all keep on inspiring and supporting each other in any form we can .
