🌟 Exciting news from Lilly Collins! Last Friday and husband Charlie McDowell introduced their beautiful baby girl, Tove Jane McDowell, to the world! 🌼💖

“Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way,” Lilly shared. “We love you to the moon and back again...”

While many fans showered the couple with love and congratulations, some voiced their concerns about their surrogacy journey. 💬 In response, McDowell addressed the critics, emphasizing the joy and gratitude they feel. “It’s OK to not be an expert on surrogacy,” he wrote. “Let’s focus on love instead of negativity, especially for our beautiful baby girl!”

Surrogacy is a choice that many use if unable to carry babies for medical reasons - and celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Rebel Wilson, have embraced this route as they navigate their own paths to parenthood. 🌈💕

Collins and McDowell’s journey is a reminder of the evolving landscape of family-building and the personal choices that come with it. Let’s celebrate love and families in all its forms! ❤️✨

🌍💔 Infertility is a pressing public health issue around the world.

Here we focus on Nigeria where infertility impacts many couples nationwide.

It's estimated that about 1 in 4 couples face challenges with infertility, with causes ranging from delayed marriage and lifestyle changes to underlying medical conditions.

Unfortunately, the lack of comprehensive data hinders our understanding of the true scale of this concern, as infertility can arise from both male and female factors. In fact 40% of any fertility issue is male related, 40% female related and 20% both partners or unexplained.

Let’s raise awareness and support one another in this journey. Together, we can advocate for better resources, research and support for couples facing infertility. 💪❤️

Infertility is a significant public health issue in Nigeria, affecting a considerable number of couples across the country. Estimates suggest that approximately

Today is World Fertility Day … a global awareness day that myself and Sara Marshall-Page set up - with the World’s First Born through IVF, Louise Joy Brown, to raise much needed awareness.

I went through 10 years trying to have my beautiful girls - with 5 miscarriages, 3 misdiagnoses and it took until the 9th year to find an incredible consultant who actually carried out tests - and found out I had various issues (endometriosis - went in diagnosed for 20+ years!, blocked tube, thyroid issue, polyps) with those sorted out, I went on to have my miracle girls! I was so lucky to have met him! But it shouldn’t be like that!

Year on year it has grown exponentially with the awareness day raising much needed support and education around fertility for couples and individuals
struggling to have the family they dream of.

Did you know that infertility affects millions of people worldwide, regardless of gender or background?

By shedding light on this topic, we can help break the stigma and create a more understanding society. It's crucial to recognize that fertility is a shared responsibility, and it's essential for everyone to have access to reliable information and support.

Let's make a difference today and every day. Join us in raising awareness about World Fertility Day by using the hashtags and sharing this post to help spread the message. Together we can break taboos and stigma!
