With 1 in 5 people being disabled, if you aren’t confident in the inclusive and accessible design of your content, you are excluding a big chunk of your target audience.

I’ve heard many questions and statements like:

“Will accessibility limit my creativity?”
Absolutely not. In fact, because it will work better for you, it’s creativity at its best.

“My target audience aren’t disabled people.”
News flash - many of them are.

“How will I know if the people I’m trying to reach are disabled?”
Just know they will be.
Plus, anyone you’re reaching today may become disabled tomorrow and no longer be able to engage with your content. 83% of disabilities are acquired in adulthood.

Social media marketing can mean wearing multiple hats.

There’s the strategy behind your rhythm, the engaging copy to reach your audience, image creation to grab attention and producing videos people want to watch.

Whether you create your own content or if you create for others, here’s a free tip - if your content isn’t accessible by design you are not reaching your maximum audience.
