If you receive a letter from your bank, building society, or credit card company, it would usually arrive within 3 to 5 days.
However, if you require this in audio, Braille or large print, as a visually impaired customer, it can take up to 20 days because of administration.
However, D are T makes all its customers a promise. All documents are sent out within three working days. This is considerably better than any of the larger companies who provide these formats.
So if you know of banks, credit card companies, building societies, or other businesses who send out documents for people with visual impairment, please let them know about us or ask them to contact us. And, if they pay our invoices within 28 days, and take out a minimum one year contract, we give 10% reduction on each invoice.

Do you go to restaurants. Ask them, do they have their menus in braille or available in an accessible format. If not, please pass them on to me, because really, basic menus should be available for visually impaired people. At least in braille and large print format. Of course, some restaurants change their menus on a daily basis which is more difficult, but they usually have a basic menu.

Did you know that the disability resource team provide documents in braille, large print, and audio format. We can receive documents via email, post, or via online platforms such as we transfer.
However, what sets us apart from other organisations is our promise. All documents are sent out within three working days. Other companies will promise this but as a blind person who receives documents from them, I can tell you that they don’t keep to their contract. And, we will give discounts for taking out contracts or service level agreements and paying invoices within 28 days. So, if you know of finance companies, educational establishments, health organisations, government departments, or any organisations who send out documents, then please ask them to contact us. The equalities act states that all documents available in print should be available in other formats, a lot of companies do not comply.
So please remember, our promised, documents sent out within three working days.
