My grief movement workshop was last Thursday and it was sold out! It was such an honour to hold the space for the lovely women who joined. 🙏🏼

Wanted to highlight that not everybody wants to face their loss, it takes courage to come, understand, feel and release the emotions that no longer serve you! I am so proud of every woman who came, may you be blessed 🙏🏼

The feedback is heartwarming and reassuring for me to continue offering regular workshops and movement sessions.

For the Guide and facilitator it was beautiful to hear after the workshop when participants asked: ‘When is the next session?’. Thank you 🙏🏼.

We are now building up our schedule for upcoming events for the autumn and I will share the news as soon as I know.

There is a waiting list for the grief movement workshop but we will offer more of them 🙏🏼

Thank you for your trust in me and for showing up for yourselves 🤍.

Namaste 🙏🏼

✨ As a Certified Menopause Yoga Teacher and Breathwork & Meditation Practitioner, I don’t just teach — I guide women through what I’ve walked through myself. Every class, every breath, every moment of stillness is rooted in my own lived experience.

That’s why these testimonials mean the world to me. They are more than kind words — they’re reflections of real transformation, connection, and care. 🌿

I run a variety of courses, classes, and workshops — all created from a place of deep intention and compassion. If you feel the call to reconnect with your body, your breath, and your inner peace, I’d love to welcome you.

🕊 Upcoming offerings are listed in my bio — come join a space where you’re held, seen, and supported.

Sometimes grief arrives quietly.
It doesn’t ask if you’re ready — it just moves in. And suddenly, you’re no longer the person you were yesterday.

On July 24th, I’m holding space for you at St. Margaret’s House — a gentle, grounding workshop where we’ll move, breathe, and feel through grief in its many forms.

Grief isn’t only about death. It’s about all the losses we carry — the ending of a relationship, the shift in identity, a dream that no longer fits, a life chapter we didn’t want to close.

We’ll move together through what’s stuck.
We’ll breathe into what still hurts.
You don’t have to be “strong.” You don’t have to do this alone.

This is for anyone holding quiet sadness, for anyone longing, missing, or simply needing to soften into themselves.

If this speaks to you — come. I’ll be there to guide you.

Holding space for grief is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

Every time I guide a workshop, course or work one to one, I witness how much healing can begin when we allow ourselves to feel — gently, honestly, and with care.

It’s not about “fixing” grief. It’s about honoring it.

Through body-based grief movement practices, meditation, we slowly start to release the heaviness. People begin to feel lighter, more grounded, and even grateful for what remains.

To everyone who joins — thank you for your courage and trust.
You remind me that healing is always possible, even in the presence of loss. 🤍

Eid Mubarak and happy Mother’s Day for those who are in the UK.

Two very special holidays in my life which I dread approaching without my beloved Mother. Eid al-Fitr always was a special day for our family and without my Mother it is always a challenging time.

I feel for everyone who is celebrating Eid al Fitr without your Mother, or Mother’s Day without your Mother.

If this day is hard for you, please be gentle with yourself.

Your love for them and theirs for you, hasn’t gone anywhere. It lives on - today and everyday.

Take the day gently. Make space for what soothes you, go for a walk, sit with friend or loved one who gets it, curl up with blanket or book. Or do absolutely nothing.

I usually wear my Mum’s piece of jewellery, write her a letter, pray and light a candle in her memory.

Your grief is real because your love is real. That love never dies ❤️.

Did you know that grief or loss is not just when your loved one dies? You can grieve the loss of your health, your body, the end of relationship, loss of a job and many more.

Anything which was part of your life and suddenly it is gone…

Being aware that you are actually grieving the loss of marriage, relationship, friendship, health, job and helps to process the stages of grief which are denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

The stages are not linear, I will speak about them soon.

Happy New Year, friends! 🎊

May this year be kind to all of us, may there be peace on on our beautiful planet 🙏🏼

Last year was full of challenges for me. I had two losses: my beloved sister Adiba (the kindest and beautiful Soul) and my brother/ cousin (my favourite one). Why the ones whom you love the most go so early?..

What have I learned last year?
Talk more often with my loved ones, tell them that I love and value them. I regret I didn’t tell it more often to ones who have left now 😭.

Take care of myself, take care of my physical, mental and emotional health. 🙏🏼

Be around non-toxic people, value true friends and loved ones. 🤍

Always thank God for everything. 🤲🏻 Keep a gratitude journal - the state of gratitude immediately switches you to more higher vibrations.

Be kind and gentle with yourself, always. And be healthy. 🙏🏼

World Mental Health Day Event at CRATE

Sound Bath Experience
with Tahmina Hakimova-Rees

12pm-12.30 and 2pm-2.30pm

Tahmina is a Sound Healing Practitioner using Singing Bowls and a Gong.

Join her for the relaxing sound bath session which will help you calm down your nervous system, as well as give you stress and tension relief.

The vibrations of the sounds will bring balance and harmony to your wellbeing.

What is a sound bath?

Sound baths are an ancient practice designed to bring deep states of relaxation and meditation. It uses a variety of instruments, including Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, and sometimes the human voice, to create a landscape of sound that washes over you.

Sound bath meditation may bring many benefits for both physical and mental health. Whether you’re seeking relief from physical pain, emotional distress, or looking for peace, sound baths might be able to engage the body's healing capabilities and nurture your wellbeing.

Do forget to book your ticket to take part in the Sound Bath workshop with Tahmina

The body is naturally resilient. It has uncanny ability to process trauma and stressful events and restore itself to its natural state. It knows more than we take for granted, it knows…it understands and it knows how to heal.
