Writing to you this Winter Solstice to celebrate an amazing year at The Gong Business School.
I want to thank each of you for being part of it. Even by receiving this post, you are part of this magic to make the world a better place.
It´s been amazing to reflect on 2025. I encourage you to do the same and to create your intentions from now until the Spring Equinox 21 March.
We kicked the year off with an epic Gong & Business Teacher Training in Koh Phangan in Thailand. The attendees landed in style during a cyclone, not quite the speedboat arrival I had planned! A very transformational week was had by all as we moved through the jungle and weather challenges going through the newly created Gong Business School Book. Everybody put in their all and left with renewed inspiration and excitement to take the gong out to their respective corners of the world. We also had a lot of beach fun, dancing, open mic nights, beach jams by the fire, wellbeing treatments and deliciously nourishing food provided by The Sanctuary.
After various masterclasses and moving people through our various online trainings, nursing my 90 year old mother through a broken leg, I took off to Burning Man in the US to teach and what a blast that was. I managed to land in the worst sandstorm they have ever had, followed by two nights of camping in the rain. Are the weather Gods trying to tell me something here! Followed through by the most incredible desert, art and dancing. Another transformation that happens at the end of the rainbow.
With a couple of hop, skips and jumps over to Ibiza to do some teaching, I then started preparing for our next Teacher Training closer to home in Mallorca, Spain in an incredible castle venue overlooking a national park based in the crystal clear ocean. I always knew I was going to run a retreat at this venue which was walking distance to my home. Very interesting in hindsight as to how much more work it was to do it down the road to the other side of the world! A lot of learnings after three car loads of food and taking everything but the kitchen sink (the rest of the kitchen!), you get the picture. Oh and we nearly burnt the castle down! Retreats are an ever changing learning curve as are holding events in different venues and locations. Always new teaching fodder to impart!
