Thrilled to share this incredible result after just one treatment! 🤩

My lovely client was feeling self conscious about the skin on her inner arms - something so many women start to notice as collagen and elastin decline with age.

With a family wedding coming up, she wanted to feel more confident wearing a sleeveless dress, so we put together a bespoke treatment plan to help.

She’d already had amazing results with radiofrequency microneedling on her face and neck, so for her arms, I decided to take it one step further and combine it with another of my favourite treatments - polynucleotides. This powerful duo works to regenerate, hydrate, and improve skin quality at a deeper level.

I carefully planned every aspect of her treatment, from the RF microneedling settings to the precise injection technique for the polynucleotides, ensuring we achieved the best possible outcome.

✨ These photos were taken just 3 weeks apart, and she’s already so happy with her results! ✨ We still have two more sessions to go, and I’m excited to see the final transformation.

I’ve recently observed an increasing number of patients seeking relief from tension caused by excessively clenching their jaw muscles. It’s not uncommon for these patients to arrive at the clinic in tears due to the significant discomfort this can cause.

My background in Dentistry has given me a great understanding of facial anatomy and over time I have developed a precise and safe treatment technique to effectively relieve the pain and discomfort associated with jaw muscle tension.

Hydration and subtle volume for thinning lips 👄

As we age, our lips tend to lose volume and definition.

Through proper assessment of the lips, selecting the right product and careful placement of filler (a technique that has taken years to perfect 😉) it is possible to achieve lips that look natural, hydrated, and beautifully volumised to complement your face.

As you can see, there is also a visible improvement to the lines present above the top lip - a common area of concern for many. By supporting the lip border with small amounts of filler, these lines can soften as a result.

AI seems to have taken influence in the last year, but how does it fit into the realm of facial aesthetics?

Whilst I feel that there many AI advancements, I strongly believe you cannot replicate the human touch.

As an Aesthetic Doctor, it’s not just about technical advancements, it’s about bringing your unique skills and personality to deliver a positive experience and beautiful outcome!

I genuinely hope that as AI continues to evolve, it complements rather than replaces the personal touch.

After all, meaningful interactions are what enriches our lives 🫶🏽

It’s hard to spot the good ones… 👀

One of the biggest fears my clients have about getting dermal filler treatment is looking fake or overdone.

And I completely get it, when filler is done poorly it really stands out and gets your attention - and not in a good way.

However, as I often reassure my patients, the expertly injected cases often go unnoticed (and thank goodness they do!)

I would love to share numerous cases I’ve worked on, but understandably, the majority of my clients prefer to keep their treatments confidential, a choice I fully honour and respect.

So I am really grateful that this lovely client of mine has consented for me to share her before and after, to help demonstrate that filler administered skilfully works to help enhance your beauty, not detract from it.

Here I have treated the cheeks, nose to mouth lines and corners of the mouth with just 1.5mls of filler (1 and a half blueberries worth!)

As you can see, her mid-face is more lifted, the under-eye area has improved, and once the redness settles, the corners of the mouth will appear less downturned

Swinging into 2024 💫

January often brings the pressure of setting goals and intentions and for me personally, I tend to find myself lacking inspiration during this time!

So I did something a little different this year and spent some time away in the sun -embracing the opposite of ‘being good’ 🤭 (except wearing SPF - that’s non negotiable!!) and I’m incredibly grateful for this time as I am feeling so much better for it!

While there’s a time and place for goals and intentions, it’s perfectly OK if, like me, you haven’t felt inspired this January. There are no rules, so do what feels right to you 😊 For me, Spring is when my motivation starts to blossom 🌺

I am Looking forward to catching up with all of you in clinic!

Swipe for the before 😮

One of our beautiful patients had a little lip enhancement done this week and she is thrilled with her results!🎄

Naturally she had quite small delicate lips, so as always I recommended a gentle approach. We did 1ml of filler in June 2022 and another 1ml December 2023.

The before photo is prior to the first treatment in 2022 and as you can see, over time we have restored volume, corrected asymmetry and created a very natural looking result.

If you are considering lip filler, I always recommend a thorough consultation beforehand so I can understand your desired outcome and build a treatment plan to ensure you get the best results 💫
