In all my work, I help you to live or have the intention to live your truth moment by moment. From the ancient Indian epic drama and teaching, "The Bhagavad Gita" - this is understood as your very personal "Dharma", your sacred vocation. When we are anchored in such a Dharma, and cultivate the intention of bringing more profound caring and care to our bodies and our daily life, more an more we experience
"The Delicious Delight of Living". My therapy integrates Art, Dance, Theatre, Creative Writing, Sound, Yoga, Meditation, Ecotherapy, Play Therapy, Buddhist Psychology and other Transpersonal Psychology. My meditation and yoga work focusses on Mindfulness (sati), Befriending (metta) and and Compassion (karuna) focused practices and the cultivation of our inter-relationship with all things (pratityasamudpada.) Furthermore I bring meditation to dance to art to ecology to play to connection with the Ocean. Here I am particularly inspired by Zen practice in Japan. Here creative activity is a meditation; and daily life acitivities can be both meditation and art. Here daily life becomes:

stillness in crisis:
FULL CATASTROPHE DANCING

Dance is everywhere: street, club, therapy studio, ocean, home

Dance for me is daily yogic meditation, creative expression, ecological consciousness, and existential survival.
- inspired by The Natya Shastra

Dance is a way of surviving and hopefully thriving in a “profoundly sick world”
- from philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti

Dance is my “full catastrophe living”
- from mindfulness teacher Jon Kabat-Zinn.

Dance, Photography, Painting , Writing and Play are integral to my
“Omomuki Mindfulness-based Art Psychotherapy”
for the Trauma Recovery Program at Holina Healing, Khao Yai Thailand

Dance and other somatic processes support trauma and other mental health recovery

Savoring for me, existentially, is profoundly important.

It is a source of creativity.

I utilize it also in my psychotherapy.

Savoring of what is around us - as evidenced by researchers Bryant, Veroff, Hanson and others - supports wellness and wellbeing.

Savoring can furthermore enable us to have a greater sense of our relational being, our deep ecological being.

Dance is so much pleasure

When you have

- the exquisite Justin Mills as the Dj

- the mesmerizing views of Hannibal

- passionate staff, who also love dance, creating a wonderful ambience.

Wherever I am I may find stillness in chaos through dance.

This is core to my:
Omomuki Mindfulness-based Art Psychotherapy
