Are you listening to your body?

What has it been trying to tell you lately?

Whether it's tension, fatigue, or restlessness or through headaches, stomach issues, burnout, or sheer exhaustion, 😮‍💨🫣 these is your body's way of telling you something...

We often override the signals, pushing through with “just one more task” or “I'll rest later.” But your body is wise and can even store trapped emotions.

Through experience of so many heath ups and downs after my burnout and glandular fever, I'm a big believer now that it’s not your boys way of trying to stop you.... No no no, but actually it protecting and supporting you. 💛

Because what would be the final outcome if you kept pushing, kept ignoring, worked through the pain and discomfort.... Where would you be? Probably not in a great place🤦🏽‍♀️

So....

Pause. Breathe. Tune in.

Running on empty despite your achievements?

It’s time to refill your energy tank! ⚡

If you’re feeling drained with nonstop calls 📞 looming deliverables, and late night work hours, you’re probably feeling it all slowly chipping away at your energy and enthusiasm.

In your high‑performance environment, to keep stress, fatigue, or overwhelm at bay 🙅🏽‍♀️ it’s not always a massive overhaul that’s needed but rather micro‑practices that restore focus, resilience, and connection to what matters most.

Like we do in my Burnout Reset: The Sustainable Success Coaching Programme, we weave in small shifts which aren't overwhelming but are aligned with you and your timetable, which then lead to profound, lasting change. 🌟

Here’s a few to work on now:

1️⃣ Breath Breaks 🍃 – Inhale for 4 counts, exhale for 6 counts for 2 minutes to reset focus and lower cortisol.

2️⃣ Mini‑Moves 🧘🏽‍♀️ – A desk stretch, 5‑minute hallway walk, or core‑awakening yoga pose boosts circulation and alertness.

3️⃣ Pen‑to‑Paper Reflections 🖋️ – Journal on: “What energised me?” and “What’s stopping me from doing those more?” to deepen self‑awareness.

4️⃣ Mindful Tea Ritual🍵- Brew a cup of green or rooibos tea, then spend 2 minutes engaging all your senses and smell aroma, see the color, and feel the warmth.

5️⃣ Posture & Pulse Reset ☀️ - Stand up, roll your shoulders back, and reach high overhead for 30 seconds.


6️⃣ Digital Detox Mini‑Break 📴 - Every 60 minutes, or after X task, look away from screens for 2 minutes; gaze out a window or close your eyes. Combine with deep breathing to recharge your prefrontal cortex.

With some small tweeks to your habits you could be creating the foundation of a much healthier, stable, positive and sustainable well‑being.

𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱.

It’s what happens when you’ve been 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨.

When you’ve been holding everything together and slowly start to feel like you’ve lost touch with yourself.

And yet, so often, the advice we get is surface-level:

“𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬.” “𝘛𝘳𝘺 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨.” “𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯.” 🤦🏽‍♀️

But those things barely touch the edges when you’re deep in burnout or spiralling.

Because burnout isn’t just about doing too much or overworking, it’s about what’s underneath:

– The pressure to keep proving yourself.
– The invisible emotional load.
– The gap between how much you give and how little you get back.

What women need isn’t another quick fix or wellness checklist📝

We need a new approach to success (YOUR version of success) whatever that may be.

✔️One that honours both your ambition and your well-being.

✔️One that gives you permission to lead with strength AND softness.

Feeling heavy after a long winter?

Maybe it’s not just the cold that’s worn you out…

As the light shifts and spring 🐾 tiptoes in, there’s a quiet invitation:

To pause.
To breathe.
To gently clear some space.

Not just in your home, but in your mind, your heart, your habits.

Because “decluttering” isn’t just about cupboards and storage boxes.

It’s about the emotional weight we carry through the darker seasons:

🔻Unfinished conversations.

🔻Confusing or difficult situations we haven’t had time to process.

🔻Habits that drain instead of restore.

🔻Expectations that no longer fit.

And that clutter? It can blur your clarity, dim your energy, and drown out your inner wisdom.
