Residents of had a fun-filled day out at Whitewebbs Transport Museum, where they were surrounded by all sorts of transport treasures. The vintage buses and shiny old fire engine were particular favourites, sparking lots of smiles and stories from days gone by. Everyone enjoyed exploring the exhibits, reminiscing, and chatting and there were plenty of photo opportunities!

's annual staff sports day was a fantastic celebration of teamwork, laughter, and community spirit. Despite the rain making a surprise appearance, it certainly didn’t dampen our enthusiasm. We quickly adapted by moving the activities indoors, proving that a little weather couldn’t stop us from having a great time. From friendly competitions to shared laughter, the day was filled with energy and joy, strengthening bonds across the team. It was a brilliant reminder of how resilient and united we are. Rain or shine, we know how to have fun together!

Residents of love their trips out to local restaurants, and this month was no exception! We enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Miller & Carter Steakhouse, where the food was delicious and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. It was a wonderful chance for everyone to relax, chat, and share a few laughs over lunch. Outings like these always bring smiles and happy memories and we're already looking forward to the next one!

This week, our residents at were treated to a wonderful performance by the talented a ca****la group Four of Herts. Their beautiful harmonies and uplifting songs created such a warm and joyful atmosphere throughout the home. What made the performance even more special was that one of the singers is the daughter of one of our very own residents, a lovely personal touch that made the afternoon all the more meaningful. Our residents at had a lovely time on their recent visit to the National Portrait Gallery in London. It was a relaxed and enjoyable day out, with plenty to see and talk about. The portraits sparked some great conversations and brought back a few memories for some of our residents. It was a nice change of scene and a chance to soak up a bit of history and culture together. Our residents at had a lovely day out exploring the beautiful Hatfield House. With its grand rooms, charming gardens, and fascinating history, there was something for everyone to enjoy. They especially loved hearing stories about Queen Elizabeth I and soaking up the sunshine and fresh air. In fact, the visit was such a hit that we ended up going back twice! It was a relaxed and cheerful trip each time, full of laughter, good company, and plenty of photo opportunities. A truly enjoyable experience that left everyone smiling!

The afternoon featured a French-themed quiz that tested our knowledge of the country’s culture, history, and cuisine.
