Originally starting a successful career in early years, childcare & education I had complete change of career when I was raising my 3 oldest children on my own. I ended up studying, training & working as a Legal Executive, this led on to a Law Degree & a career spanning over 10 years as a city of London Lawyer working with High Profile Clients. Even though I had done well in my legal career & I loved it, I couldn’t shake the feeling that it wasn’t quite the right fit. I kept being drawn back into supporting new mothers as a Volunteer Breastfeeding supporter. It wasn’t until I took on a Doula’s role for a friend, that I had a complete epiphany, it felt like coming home. My speciality areas in my Doula work, have grown from my experience of working with families & my deep desire to see parents receive a full spectrum of support. And of course birthing, breastfeeding & raising my own 5 children definitely adds to what I can bring to you as a Doula, I completely understand how having a baby is both is a joyful, challenging & a life changing experience. I have been a young mum, a single working parent, a stay at home parent & an older mum. I have always been that mum other mum's turn to when they have questions or need support. I take on clients in London & Cheshire, & work alongside other Birth Bliss Doulas on a shared care basis & so I always have a back up Doula. I am a member & supported by the renowned Doula Association & trained as a Doula with the Birth Bliss Academy. The highest standard of Doula training. I am well connected, know personally & refer clients to a whole network of leading UK Antenatal, Birth, Breastfeeding & Postnatal specialists, who are experts in their field. I offer comprehensive Antenatal Education & support, Antenatal & Hypnobirthing courses, complete Labour & Birth support.
