Acne Prone Skin: A Holistic Approach.

Living with acne can be a challenging journey, but
there’s nothing more empowering and freeing like
embarking on a self healing journey.

First of all, it is essential to explore the internal causes
of acne, knowing that this common skin condition can
often be influenced by various factors within the body.
Finding the root of the issue, understanding the
internal triggers such as hormonal imbalances, gut
health disruptions, or the impact of stress on our bodies is essential.

Harness the potency of nature’s gifts integrating
carefully chosen herbs to support the body internally.
Herbs such as turmeric, renowned for its potent anti-
inflammatory properties, or burdock root, esteemed for
its blood-purifying effects, can complement traditional
treatments and offer a holistic approach to addressing
acne concerns from the inside out.

Moreover, nurturing our skin gently from the outside is
equally crucial. Embracing a skincare ritual that

Day 05 - Liver health 🤍

But let’s get back to our challenge and learn about our
next topic: The connection between liver health and
skin health. Which I am very excited to share because
when I asked which topic should I cover next all of you
said: LIVER CLEANSE. So, without further ado, let’s dip
into this juicy topic!

Any hormonal imbalances? do you always feel
frustrated and super bloated before your period? Are
you feeling ‘stuck’ in life and can’t connect with your
true self or start working towards your best self? Is
alcohol feeling harder and harder on your body by the
day? The reason for all or any of these might be Liver
Qi stagnation.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the liver is associated
with the smooth flow of Qi - vital energy - throughout
the body. When the liver is functioning properly, the Qi
and blood flow freely, which promotes overall health
and vitality, including healthy skin. However, when liver
Qi stagnation occurs, the liver may become
overwhelmed and unable to properly eliminate toxins
from the body, Which can result in skin issues such as
acne, rashes, and hives, among other issues.

Day 04 - Hormonal Health 🌹

I feel like this is a HUGE topic, and l’Il not be able to cover it in one day. I’Il definitely come back to this. But today, it would already make me very happy if this information raises awareness and encourages at least
one woman to prioritize their hormonal health :)

Hormones are chemical messengers that regulate a
wide range of bodily functions, including the grow and
maintenance of skin tissue. When hormones are out of
balance, it can lead to a variety of skin problems, such as acne, dryness, oilines (excess of sebum), pigmentation and even premature aging, on top of
affecting your overall health.

Unfortunately, even tho it is natural to experience an
hormonal decline as we grow older, what is happening
today to many of us is that our natural hormonal changes are being worsened by factors in our diet, lifestyle and or environment. So I find it super important to be conscious about this and support the hormonal transition that comes with aging by taking
steps to prevent any excessive hormonal imbalances triggered by any of these.

I’ve already been sharing about GUT HEALTH, NUTRITION, STRESS MASTERY, and guess what? if you are already taking action in any of those topics, you are already working towards balancing your hormones! 🙃

Day 03 - Stress Mastery 6 🌀

Hello beautiful souls! I am back from a super relaxed weekend full of nourishing foods, nature, and inspiration.

I chose to talk about STRESS, first of all, because you voted for this topic, and also because..

I used to hate Mondays. Mondays used to mean,
snoozing the alarm, the start of another stressful week, feeling my body heavy and my mind overwhelmed, and so on.

But one day, I started listening to myself, taking small decisions and actions, baby steps into a more meaningful way of life, and slowly but surely, week by
week, my Mondays - once the most stressful day of the
week - began to become better and better. Until now,
they’re almost stress-free.
If this caption is triggering you, stay with me, there’s a
nice end and hopefully, you’ll feel better after reading
this!

I have bad news and good news. The bad news is that stress affects your integral health and therefore your skin. The good news is that we can learn practices to manage the stress.
And what is even better, imagine being able to identify
the root causes of your stress! How powerful that could
be.

By understanding the underlying deep reasons for our stress, we can work towards addressing the root cause, rather than just managing the symptoms. This
approach can lead to long-term solutions, less stress in
our lives, and ultimately balanced healthy skin!
For me, it’s been and still is a long journey of learning.
At first, I thought it was just the demands of work, society, and family that were weighing on me. But as I dug deeper, I realized that my stress was often rooted in my own thought patterns and habits.

I started to notice that I had a tendency to ruminate on
negative thoughts or to worry excessively about things
that were beyond my control. I also realized that I wasn’t taking enough time to recharge my batteries, whether that meant being too sedentary, not getting
enough sleep, or not taking time alone. ✨

Day 02 - Nutrition for Glowing Skin

It is Day 2 of the inside out skincare challenge. I hope
you are staying motivated and that you already chose 1
or 2 new habits to incorporate in your daily life that
promote gut health because we are going to need that
good digestion to absorb these key nutrients to

I like to think of food as my daily medicine, to imagine
that healthy food is just like a pill full of goodness,
packed with beneficial compounds that can support

Rituals for Busy Times - that won’t
require more than 60 seconds and will create a
significant impact in your life.

Life can get pretty darn hectic, and it’s crucial to look
after yourself, especially during this time of year. Just
yesterday, I was reading „Atomic Habits,” and right
from the first pages of the book (I won’t spoil it for you,
but I’ve got a point on this), James Clear shares how
often we underestimate small improvements in our
daily lives that can make a big difference over time.
Reflecting on my life, I realized that I’ve been
incorporating rituals and good habits into my life (some
days more than others) and they have indeed
influenced me and my life.

The challenge for me is that I tend to be an all-or-
nothing kind of person. So, I’m currently learning how
to find balance.

And something that really helps is adding MICRO
rituals even on the busiest of days.

I’ve personally discovered the incredible power of
aromatherapy and its magical ability to shift your
mood, keep you firmly rooted in the here and now and
even bring up cherished memories.

If you’re hustling and bustling and barely have a minute
to spare, here are a few quick and easy things you can
do to brighten your day today:

- Burn a Candle: Light up a cozy scented candle to
create a serene atmosphere. The gentle flame and the
soothing scent will help you unwind and guide you
towards relaxation and inner peace.

- Spray Palo Santo Healing Mist: Spritz a bit of Palo
Santo Mist to clear away any stagnant energies and
invite in positivity and creativity into your day. A couple
of sprays, and you’ll feel refreshed, lighter and
protected

- Roll On Wrists and Breathe: Pick the mood you’d like

what exactly makes a morning routine “good”?

Well, that really depends on you and your individual needs and goals.

This is what has been helping me to stay healthy by
taking care of my mind, body and spirit.
I hope you are finding time for whatever works for you,
makes you feel good and cared for. Always keep in mind that everyone’s morning routine will look a little different depending on their schedule, preferences, and obligations. Some people might prioritize exercise, while others might focus on making a healthy breakfast or catching up on emails. The key is to find a balance that works for you and helps you feel ready to tackle whatever the day may bring.
