I was so worried at the start of this lockdown because of the progress I’d made so far with my health and fitness. I didn’t want to jeopardise it!
Here are a few tips that have helped me so far if you feel like you are struggling:
1️⃣Don’t beat yourself up about it! If you have had a bad day, week, month, etc it is not the end of the world, remember it is not a race you should go at your own pace. Remind yourself of your goals and start over the next day!
2️⃣Start off slow.🚶🏾♀️You don’t need to begin by working out for 1 hour+. Try going for a walk, doing a 20 minute hiit, 10 minutes of skipping.
3️⃣Don’t punish yourself by restricting your diet massively. 🍬🍫Allow yourself to have a treat, life is hard enough as it is!😂. Plus nowadays there are so many alternatives and low calorie options of your favourite snacks!
4️⃣Try not to compare yourselves to others. It doesn’t do you any favours. You are on your own journey, focus on yourself and your own goals!👍🏾
5️⃣Write down and tick off your small triumphs and goals!✅⭐️It feels so good when you read back through them!
