'Innovation Under Fire: Support for Child Amputees' will explore how crisis can drive innovation, and how new approaches to prosthetics and care are bringing hope to children affected by conflict.

Hosted by LSN Group, the event will feature voices from the Restoring Hope initiative, shining a spotlight on the humanitarian emergency in Gaza, where thousands of children now face life as amputees.

It will look at how collaboration and partnership, including with ourselves here at Koalaa, is helping reshape what’s possible for young amputees worldwide.

Back in March, we joined Hands of Gratitude in the Dominican Republic to help provide prosthetic hands to those in need.

More recently, we were invited to Guatemala to showcase our below-elbow prostheses and tools – demonstrating just how quick and easy they are to fit.
We’re so grateful to Hands of Gratitude for the amazing work they’re doing to support people with limb differences worldwide. 🌍💙

Our NGO & Aid team plays a leading role in delivering this vision within lower-middle income regions, both in development and conflict settings.

Working with local partners in Ukraine, Jordan/Gaza, Thailand and beyond they are delivering our lightweight and versatile prosthetics, where traditional options are often out of reach.

Nick has been playing golf for over 20 years.

After his accident, he didn’t stop.

He adapted, found his confidence, and got back in the game. And we loved catching up with him, to share a little about his experiences.⛳

At Koalaa, we're so proud to be building relationships with leading organisations, charities and individuals across the golfing world, who share our passion for making golf accessible for all.

Together, we are developing tools to support individuals of all ages to hit the golf course for the first time, or to continue playing following illness or injury.

We had the pleasure of speaking to Ashley Mae Sherman () about her mission to reshape what representation looks like - on screen, on stage, and online.

From her viral videos to major film roles, she’s inspiring a generation of young people with limb differences to embrace their strength and creativity, and have the confidence to follow their dreams.

Hearing how our Koalaa prosthetics have 'changed the game' for her, has blown us away too. 💜

Budding tennis star and member, Joanie, dreamt of one day meeting her hero, Emma Raducanu…..and thanks to the LTA - Tennis For Britain, that dream came true!🎾

It was her love for tennis that inspired the development of our ‘Joanie’ tool – named in her honour - which can help with throwing the ball up into the air to serve. (You’ll spot Joanie wearing hers in the video!).

A huge shoutout to the LTA for making Joanie’s day (and year!) and we couldn’t be prouder. Also to Andy Murray, for being such a great sport too.
