🫣😖Feeling Guilt or Shame After Yesterday?

Let’s Do It Differently This Boxing Day.

Christmas can be a minefield for those who struggle with food, alcohol, or self-critical thoughts.

If you overdid it yesterday and are waking up feeling guilt, shame, or regret, this message is for you. 🫵

It’s easy to fall into old patterns today:

😫Hair of the dog to numb the hangover.
😫Restricting food to “make up for it.”
😫Over-exercising to burn off the calories.

But here’s the thing: these strategies don’t work long-term. They only reinforce the old narrative of failure and control.

👉 Do it differently today.
If you want to feel different, you must act different. Start rewriting the story you tell yourself about who you are and how you cope.

Here are 3 simple steps to start:

1️⃣ Pause and Reflect – Instead of punishing yourself, take a moment to acknowledge how you feel. Journaling or talking to a trusted friend can help you process emotions without acting on them impulsively.

2️⃣ Choose One Kind Action – Nourish your body with a balanced meal, hydrate, or take a gentle walk—not to burn calories, but to feel good in your body.

3️⃣ Set a Small Intention – Decide on one positive action for today. It could be practicing gratitude, reaching out for support, or simply resting and resetting.

Remember: lasting change starts with small, conscious choices.

🚀You don’t have to repeat the same old patterns—you’re allowed to try something new.🚀
