In and amongst all of the baby excitement I can’t believe I passed the 1 year milestone since I started sharing my yoga teaching with the world 🤯❤️ in the past 12 months I…

• Launched the website and created a winter bundle of 16 full length on-demand classes (seasonally themed, flow yoga and restorative) 🤸🏼‍♀️

• Put out 2 podcast seasons (3rd currently in the making) 🎙️

• Took x2 advanced teacher trainings (pre&postnatal and yoga nidra) and blended my love of both with the release of a mini postpartum Nidra series this week 🧘🏼‍♀️

It can be so easy to be hard on yourself when you’re starting out (in my case I was also pregnant for most of this time so was barely making it to my own mat!) but I couldn’t be prouder looking back.

I’m not sure how much live teaching life with a newborn will allow but hope to offer more online classes in 2023 (general / restorative / postpartum) • would love to support an in-person prenatal class 😍 • and definitely more Nidra and meditation series to come 🙏🏻

Took a long hiatus from posting in 2022 because I was busy growing a baby 💕

I was pretty overwhelmed with the physical demands of pregnancy 😅 by the end my body and mind felt as well worn as my running shoes (2nd pic in gallery 👟)

That having been said, I’m recovering really well postnatally. Within seconds of delivering our baby, the nausea and anxiety finally lifted. And I was more or less physically pain-free after a week. As I step into this New Year my focus is on rebuilding strength, reclaiming my body and embracing the joys and challenges that motherhood and family life bring ❤️

Things that have helped in my physical recovery: staying hydrated - moving little and often at home (rocking baby and light housework!) - short walks outside - diaphragmatic breathing 🧘🏼‍♀️

Yesterday was an exciting milestone because I made it back to the gym (out of pure love of fitness and zero obligation). I’m so excited to start moving my body more again ❤️❤️❤️

Happy International Women’s Day 😍😍😍

Today we are invited for more focused and dedicated discussion of issues impacting women and celebration of women than may be happening in our day to day 🙏🏻 these conversations are so important.

I have mixed emotions on this day every year. This year I sit in sadness and anger as much as I do in hope and joy. I count an equal number of direct experiences of sexism as I can encounters with amazing women in the past 7 days (to be clear this is a comment on the volume of sexism - amazing women are never in short supply!!). If you are sitting with rage and fire today know that you are not alone 🙏🏻 women know strength in ways our counterparts can never imagine.

Between these moments may you experience peace, safety, joy, tranquility, silliness, beauty, pleasure, laughter, intrigue, ice cream and all other magics of life ✨🥰❤️

30min self-care yoga flow ✨ on Thursday night I taught a live in-person class called ‘Adapt’ - as we move deeper into January you may be feeling the pinch of this time of year (injury from overexertion, seasonal illness, strapped for cash etc etc!) so it is so important to take time to check in with ourselves and keep asking ourselves how we can best support our body, mind and soul. Sometimes we continue. Sometimes we stop. Sometimes we adapt.

Giving yourself permission to rest 🙏🏻 30min restorative flow in this January’s bundle is exactly what I need this weekend ✨ https://www.itsyogawithmolly.com

Last night I taught my ‘Adapt’ flow - a gentle sequence inviting us meet ourselves where we are in the moment and adapt to nurture our own individual bodies and souls.

This morning I’m challenged to apply the teaching off the mat. I’ve had the most exciting start to the year (planning my wedding, a house move, building Yoga With Molly, a heap of other exciting work projects and preparing for our in-person class last night) - this morning it feels like the blinkers have lifted and I can see the trails of laundry and unattended dishes that remain 😂

So often we launch into the New Year with high bursts of energy and enthusiasm, but eventually the time must come to slow down, and rest.

Sending you peace and wishes for deep sleep on this quiet Friday from London 🧘🏼‍♀️
