Tight calves = lost power.

Your gastrocnemius + soleus play a huge role in generating force from the ground up — whether you’re striking, sprinting or changing direction.

If they’re tight, overworked or not moving well, your power leaks fast ⚡️

This , look after the calves that look after you.

Your forearms do more than you think —
• Flexors drive your grip, clinch, and control.
• Extensors stabilise punches, guard, and wrist position.

Tightness here = slower reactions, weaker grip, and more strain through the elbow.

Graston therapy helps break down restrictions, boost blood flow, and restore full function through the forearm — so every punch, grip, and clinch stays sharp. 🦾

Here’s Abdullah, one of our physios, working through an isometric single-leg glute bridge with banded hip flexion - a powerful combo for hip strength and stability.

This movement targets the hamstrings, glutes, and hip flexors while challenging core control and pelvic stability. The isometric hold builds endurance and joint integrity, while the concentric hip flexion adds dynamic control through range - perfect for fighters, runners, and anyone needing stronger, more resilient hips.

Add this one to your lower-body routine - your hips will thank you later 👊

Your tendons age - unless you train them not to!

Pogos and other plyometric drills are key for maintaining tendon stiffness, elasticity, and reactive strength - all crucial for explosive performance and joint health.

As we get older, tendons naturally lose elasticity and their ability to store and release energy. But targeted plyometric work helps retrain that spring, improving power output, coordination, and injury resilience.

That’s why we include pogo variations in our Move Strong class - it’s not just jumping, it’s performance longevity.

I knew then what I know now… 💭🧠

Unfortunately, that’s not how life works - but I’m grateful that I, and the team, can now use those lessons to help other athletes on their journey to the top 🔝

We’ve been able to support professional and amateur fighters across Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA — from grassroots levels all the way to the UFC and ONE Championship. 🥊🌍

Our goal is simple: to help the next generation become better, smarter, and stronger - both inside and outside the combat arena.
