These four phases are a guide to how
works to help heal the body of trauma.

You may just be at Move for a while, before you experience a Release. As you continue your practice to Move and Release, you’ll have the capacity to notice what is there, become aware of sensations, Feel. Becoming more connected to how you Feel in your body leads to your being able to Respond, whether that’s feeding back to yourself or to others.
There is no time frame on this process, and you can’t get it wrong😌

The NLMM® is done on a mat, with eyes closed, moving continuously for the whole session. You'll be guided throughout the class by very specific verbal cues, with an underscore of specially curated music.

After a long hiatus, I’m excited to be teaching on Sunday 12th March, 10-11:15am, via Zoom🌱

With the intensity of life and living at the moment, coming back to the body is vital to help us navigate through.

This powerful somatic practice connects you with the innate wisdom of your body, helps to release trauma, smooth out the nervous system.

Done on a yoga mat, with eyes closed throughout, the continuous movement helps the unwinding of patterns of contraction, relieving bodily tension, and underlying mental loops.

In this session we will focus on Moving What You’re Feeling; feeling what is there to be felt.

Important to note, this is a practice that works beautifully from the comfort of your own home, where you can create your own sacred space🌱

What happens in Saturday’s NLMM®️sessions? We begin with the foundation technique “Moving What You Are Feeling”. It sensitises the body to feeling what is there to be felt - things arise, and you notice them. The method’s founder gives a clear visual, likening this technique of general self care of the body to flossing 🪥🤩 Sometimes this is enough, or I’ll guide the session into the “Release” technique, going deeper into the practice.

Importantly, the non-imposing nature of the method allows you to move at your own pace. If all you can do is wiggle your big toe for an hour in some sessions, know that the continuous movement is still allowing the body to unfreeze, and energy to flow.

This is not Non-Linear. BUT this is and myself enjoying some freedom earlier this year with a casual roll around on the ground, having a laugh, pure joy.
You gotta love moving! Even if it’s just a shoulder pop, or toe tap.
Don’t stop.
Go large, let it rip, screeeeeeaaaaam into the wind.
Or take it down and be quiet, slow, subtle.
Whatever you do, just keep moving.
You might be feeling stress, tension, anxiety - by moving with it, moving what your are feeling, you are freeing this stuck energy that cramps your style, causes pain and dampens your mood.
Moving gets the energy, the juices, flowing - this so important for us right now; always was, always will be.

I’m teaching this Wednesday 23rd Dec 9:15pm. I would bloody well LOVE to share this method with you. It’s saved my bacon this year and is an awesome self practice to have up your sleeve.

Hello everyone, how are you feeling?

Over Christmas and NY period I am offering classes with the intention to accommodate you wherever you are in the world, so you can give yourself some time to check in, unravel, shake out, reset - to feel what is there to be felt.

I've also added BUBBLE classes. It's the same class schedule but a set price whether there are 2 of you or 10 of you practicing together under the same roof.

On a personal note, NLMM® has kept me sane this year - with so much stress, and change, and uncertainty, to arrive on my mat, close my eyes and check in has been vital in grounding myself amidst the chaos. This space has felt like a safe haven where I have cried, howled, felt joy, felt numb, found self-love; all of it, everything, is perfect. There is no right or wrong in Non-Linear.

I hope to share the NLMM® with you soon.

I’ll be teaching my usual session at 9:30am GMT this Thursday morning 🌱 I’d love for you to join me in this self-guided, unburdening of the nervous system, to feel what is there to be felt, and open access to bodily wisdom.

Practicing NLMM®️helps to smooth out the nervous system, the poor, poor nervous system that gets frazzled from stress, anxiety, and fear. In these types of bodily states we can feel contracted, stuck, even numb - all survival modes. The more relaxed we are, the more sensitised we can be to what is actually happening in the body, to open us up to a life full of vitality.
