Teas over the centuries have proven to have beneficial effects on our health. Here are a few that work well for our Mental Wellbeing.

Chamomile - Relieves anxiety and promotes sleep. Ideal before bedtime or if you have a pressing day ahead.

Lavender - This tea has a sedative effect that calms and soothes nerves. Best to have a cup when you get home after a stressful day.

Saffron - The tea helps you to release serotonin and produces positive feelings. Drink this if your mood is low, and you need a pep.

Peppermint - This tea contains menthol and is great to drink if you have a headache.

Passion Flower - This tea produces a calming effect on your body. It’s ideal to drink just before you go to bed.

Lemon Balm- This is a good tea to treat if you’re feeling anxious or have difficulty sleeping. Best to drink at bed time.

Turmeric - This tea releases serotonin and helps to improve your mood. Ideal as a morning tea.

Green Tea - This tea is full of antioxidants and improves your energy and mood. Ideal as morning tea.

Feeling stressed? Try deep breathing. Deep breathing activates the body’s relaxation response, reducing stress and anxiety. Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a few seconds, and exhale slowly through your mouth. Repeat for a few minutes and notice the calm. 🌿
