Just 4 years ago I worked at a very famous fast-food chain, disregarding my mental and physical health.

Now I am healthy and fit in my 40's.

I went from emotional binge eating or not eating or exercising at all…⁣

…to now that I don't need anymore calories counting or a complicated routine to maintain my weight and my general health functioning 💪⁣

⁣So what changed?⁣⁣⁣

⁣Back in 2018… ⁣⁣⁣

👉I was eating unhealthy. My body was in pain all the time (I had to go to walk-ins and A&E at least one time every other week). My mental health was failing and despite being aware of everything, I wasn't able to change even the smallest thing in my life to reverse this self-destructive behaviour.
👉I was confuse, with no sense of direction and a lot of false (and often dangerous) information.
👉I had 0 control over anything, living day by day without being the main character of my life.
👉I was TERRIFIED of aging 🫣


Now in 2023…⁣⁣⁣

👉⁣I enjoy food without restriction and I have built a strong body that will be able to face any aging changes will come in the future.
👉I have implemented a winning mindset that promote an holistic health approach.
👉I inspire and educate other women to embrace their power and change their life for good.

Here’s the 3 keys that got me here to inspire and help you be able to change your life 💛⁣⁣⁣

1️⃣ YOUR HEALTH FIRST. Invest in yourself, your health is your future.

2️⃣ DON'T AIM FOR PERFECTION. I used to fear what people thought of me and this held me back from being able to better myself. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to show up. ⁣⁣⁣

3️⃣ ENJOYING DISCOMFORT. Everything you want exists outside your comfort zone. ⁣

Remember when you first took the training wheels off your bike? ⁣

You didn’t feel ready. ⁣⁣⁣

Decisions come first.⁣⁣⁣

Feelings follow. ⁣⁣

You just have to decide to start.⁣⁣

And then choose to show up everyday with 100% of what you have ✨⁣

Judging health by what we see can seriously damage people with invisible conditions.

“You look so well” or “Wow, You’ve lost so much weight” are harmless phrases and maybe even a compliment in someone eyes.

But assuming someone is ok just because we don’t see them in visible excruciating pain is dangerous. Many of these conditions can deeply affect people’s lives.

▫️Allergies and intolerances
▫️Infertility
▫️Heart conditions
▫️ Cancer
▫️ Depression and mental illness
▫️ Fibromyalgia
▫️ Grief

These are just a very small list of invisible conditions an external and superficial observation can’t detect.

So. I was visibly fine when suffering from benign fasciculation a year ago. I was laughing and working and living a regular life when for more than 4 months in a row my right eyelid was twitching 24/7 no stop.

We simply don’t know what people are going through.

How many "Tonight I deserve it" ?!

👀 Tonight I deserve that pack of crips, I have had a horrible day at work. Tonight I deserve that chocolate bar, I have had a terrible fight with my boyfriend. Tonight I deserve it because I feel lonely. Tonight I deserve it because I feel sad. Tonight I deserve it because it's party time 👀

Can you relate❓

The thing is, when we emotionally eat, we are trying to satiate an emotional hunger. It's our mechanism to copy with all the stress, the fear, the pain, the sadness, the emptiness we feel day-by-day. And because the happiness from food goes away really quick, we find ourselves craving for more pleasure, trying to "forget". We are trapped in an endless circle. ⛔️

The good news is: emotional eating is not irreversible, and it's not our fault. Self-care is something we all need help with at one point or another. 👇
