Yesterday, Black women in care in collaboration with Consultancy Group hosted a deeply engaging webinar focused on raising awareness about Mental Health emphasizing its critical importance.

The session attracted significant interest, with over 80 Health and Social Care Professionals in attendance.

The webinar was not just enlightening but also essential. It left participants with a concrete action plan to support and prioritise their mental well-being, inspiring them to make a real difference in their lives.

We were glad to have Folasade Adamu-Fasoyiro a passionate mental health advocate, who provided valuable insights and strategies for prioritising mental health, covering crucial topics such as emotional abuse, stress, and depression.

Additionally, Dr Victoria Minkah NHS GP and founder of Restored Healthcare GP enlightened us with her expertise on the medical causes of mental health challenges, offering practical advice on preventing burnout.

The discussion was profoundly impactful, and we encourage all participants to maintain the momentum, particularly within the BAME community.

Remember, it's vital to speak out and seek help whenever you need it. Silence is never the answer.
