Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust is a school of excellence founded in 1989 that provides Practitioner Trainings, CPD and Introductory Seminars in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, as well as a foundation course in 'Living Anatomy'. The founder of the school is Michael Kern, author of the highly acclaimed book "Wisdom In The Body - The Craniosacral Approach To Essential Health", now available

in ten languages. Within the school's biodynamic approach there is an emphasis to work in cooperation with the underlying forces that govern our health. This involves taking a whole person and patient centred approach to treatment that incorporates an appreciation of body, mind and spirit. Our courses deliver a wide range of skills providing students with the required foundations to effectively practice Craniosacral Therapy in a professional capacity. These skills are cultivated in a supportive and creative environment, and clinical experience is gained during the latter stages of the training at the Trust's unique teaching clinic in London. The Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust is accredited and/or approved by the Complementary Medicine Association (CMA), International Cranial Association (ICrA), Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and many international Craniosacral Therapy practitioner associations. Webinar recording with Ian Wright BSc.(Ost), DPO, FSCCO introducing 'Coherence, Fields and Fulcra, Wholeness and Health', a 3-day advanced seminar on September 19th-21st 2025 in London or online.

'Coherence, Fields and Fulcra, Wholeness and Health' will explore at the body as a series of fields, from subatomic quantum fields of coherence to atomic and chemical groups, proteins, DNA, cellular arrangements, tissues, organs, systems and whole body fields. We will also look at epigenetic and inherited fields, and the principle of ‘negentropy’: increasing coherence and order from a negative entropic state within the body and its relational fields.
Topics include:
• Relational, community and wider fields of coherence
• Biodynamic, biokinetic and embryo-dynamic fields
• Fulcrums in time and space
• Coherence states, wholeness and true Health
• Oneness, Dynamic Stillness and spiritual unfolding.
Tutor: Ian Wright qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 1992, and has taught Cranial and Paediatric Osteopathy for over 25 years internationally, including Russia, Sweden, Germany, Italy, UK and Ireland. He founded the Irish Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy, teaching paediatrics to osteopaths and treating complex cases in a charity clinic setting. He is a teacher and Fellow of the Sutherland Cranial College (UK), and teaches with the International Paediatric Pathway in Italy. He practices in Florence, London and Ireland. Ian is the author of ‘Dynamics of Stillness’, ‘Healing Anxiety’ and most recently, ‘The Therapeutic Odyssey’.

Our Story

Tracy Evans is the Course Director. Within the school's "biodynamic" approach there is an emphasis to work in cooperation with the underlying forces that govern our health. Graduates from our training are awarded a professional diploma in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and given the designated letters B.C.S.T. (Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist). The B.C.S.T. award comes from the Trust as part of its membership of the International Affiliation of Biodynamic Trainings (IABT). Graduates are also eligible to join the Association Of Physical And Natural Therapies (APNT), British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA) and many international Craniosacral practitioner associations.
