Menopause, a word that many women are taught to dread, minimise, or quietly push to the back of their minds.
But it isn’t a failure of the body. It’s a natural developmental transition that can touch the body, psyche, identity, desire, confidence, and relationships.
When approached with understanding rather than alarm, menopause reveals itself not as decline, but as transformation.
Therapy can offer a space to process what’s changing, rebuild connection, navigate shifts in desire and intimacy, and support women (and couples) to move through this transition with clarity and compassion.
Because with the right support, menopause can become a time of consolidation rather than loss, of stronger boundaries, deeper intimacy, and more authentic self-expression.
