Dawn Heels – Lived experience speaker (fibroids) , women’s health advocate and Founder of The Guidance Suite

Monique Bertrand – Triplet mum, former Deputy Headteacher and maternal health heart survivor

The Motherhood Group x Sands: we are pleased to announce our new partnership with - delivering dedicated Bereavement Support Peer Groups for Black women and mothers who have experienced pregnancy or baby loss.

This is a 4-week pilot programme, offering safe, specialist support to those who need it the most.

Peer Support Sessions, facilitated by Jordan Russell, Outreach Coordinator for African and Caribbean communities at Sands.

Every Tuesday from 20.01.26 - for connection, reflection, and guided support.

The Motherhood Group has partnered with King’s College London to amplify the voices of Black and mixed-heritage women living with Type 2 Diabetes and to tackle the stigma faced within healthcare.

We are inviting women to take part in paid online group conversations where your lived experience will directly shape better understanding, practice, and future resources.

Sessions are held virtually and last around 60–90 minutes.
