Stop buying expensive energy bars and make THESE instead! 🍌✨
If you need a 3pm pick-me-up that won’t leave you crashing an hour later, these Banana Bread Brain Balls are your new best friend. They taste like banana bread but are packed with natural energy from dates and oats.
As a nutritionist, I love snacks that pair carbohydrates (oats/banana) with healthy fats (walnuts) for stable blood sugar. Plus, no baking required! 🚫🔥

👇 RECIPE (Makes 12 balls)
1 ripe banana (mashed)
120g Medjool dates (pitted)
70g rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
30g raisins
30g walnuts (chopped)
½ tsp cinnamon + ¼ tsp nutmeg
Pinch of salt
Optional: 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tbsp flaxseed/chia
Roll in melted dark or coconut
Instructions:
1. Blend dates and banana until smooth.
2. Pulse in the rest of the ingredients until a sticky dough forms.
3. Roll into balls and chill for 30 mins.
4. Enjoy! Store in the fridge for 1 week.

Honestly, why are we still using plain water? Switching to bone broth is the easiest “lazy girl” nutrition hack I’ve found in a while.

By swapping water for bone broth and not draining it afterwards you’re getting more flavour into the pasta. Plus
1️⃣ Each broth pack contains 15g of protein (and I don’t drain it I cook the pasta risotto style)
2️⃣ Extra 5g of collagen
3️⃣ It tastes infinitely richer and savoury.
Who’s trying this for their next pasta dish? 👇

As a Registered Nutritionist, here are 5 ways I actively lower my cortisol that actually work

1. Even just 5-10 minutes of a massage or a cuddle can lower cortisol. is the cheapest I have found in London and are great! They have locations everywhere and always have offers
2. Gentle Movement of a brisk walk can do wonders. I do at least an hour a day but 10 mins is great
3. My favourite tea is called mountain herbs (I got from the mountains in Italy). I make it mindfully and it takes me back to some good memories
4. Ashwaganda supplement has been shown to lower cortisol in some studies
5. Get some sunlight in the first hour of waking

We obsess over the nutrient density of our food, but we often ignore the one thing we consume the most of: Water! 🌊
As a nutritionist, I’m currently in my Nutrient Maxing era. This means I want every sip and bite to work for my body.
That’s why I’ve switched my home water to .
Here’s the science bit 🤓: Standard filters are great at removing nasties, but they often strip out the essential minerals too. uses Reverse Osmosis to purify (bye-bye microplastics 👋) but then instantly re-mineralises the water.
This means every glass is packing: ✅ Essential Minerals (Magnesium, Potassium) ✅ Optimal Hydration ✅ Zero Microplastics ✅ 100% Natural Flavors (if you fancy it!)
It’s the easiest health upgrade I’ve made this year. No more plastic bottles, just mineral-rich water on tap cold or boiling hot

-I always make sure I have homemade meals in the freezer!

How do you survive January?

London opened a restaurant where EVERY dish is designed for your gut health, here’s what I ordered as a Registered Nutritionist 🦠 London in Soho focuses entirely on gut microbiome health, so I had to test it.
What I Ordered🥬 Pink Kraut - fermented pink cabbage = probiotics for your gut 🍞 Baba Ganoush - low-FODMAP sourdough with natural fermentation 🐠 Yellow Fin Tuna- lean protein + healthy fats from the olives in the salad.
It was all so yummy! Would you try this? 👇

I get asked constantly: “What should I be drinking?” Here’s what’s in my fridge:
1️⃣ KEFIR gives you probiotics for your gut microbiome. I drink this daily for digestive health and immune support.
2️⃣ is a sparkling water made with wonky fruit (zero sugar, zero sweeteners) so you stay hydrated without the artificial stuff in most flavored waters.
3️⃣ GINGER & MINT TEA has natural anti-inflammatory from ginger + mint for digestion. My go-to after meals or when I have tummy pain

27/11/2025

I tried and I got the smoked salmon and cream cheese crêpe with a spinach and avocado smoothie 😍

What I order at as a Registered Nutritionist 🍔
The Order:
🍗 Single Chicken Burger from the White Truffle x collab lean protein without the heaviness of beef
🍋 Fifty/Fifty Christmas Tea Lemonade instead of a milkshake - festive flavour without 400+ calories or the sugar crash that leaves you uncomfortably full

What’s your go-to Shake Shack order? 👇

22/11/2025

I had to try the banana bread pop-up in Fitzrovia before it disappeared.

I got the strawberry and white chocolate banana bread with fresh strawberries, blueberries, custard and pistachio drizzle.

Was it worth the hype? Watch to find out.

My Story

To tell you the truth, I have always loved cooking and trying new foods from a young age. I spent long summers in Turkey enjoying the Mediterranean cuisine with my family (my father is Turkish). However, on my year out, I worked in a cheesecake and ready meal factory and ended up gaining extra weight which didn’t make me feel my best.

I then started to ‘diet’ but it didn't work as it made me unhappy to calorie count all the time. I felt frustrated that to achieve a healthy weight I had to miss out on my favourite meals and restrict or go on slimming shakes. I wanted to have my cake and eat it too, I felt I was worth more than a powered sachet and life was too short not to let my inner foodie experience and enjoy life.

Once I studied Nutrition and Coaching, I came across tools and recipes that would get me in shape without making me unhappy or miserable! Learning health and mindset hacks allowed me to keep realistic healthy habits which shifted my life for the better. My passion for food and compassion for other people has led me to start The Delicious Transformation Program.

I wanted to create a positive tribe where I could send a new meal plan every week with a shopping list getting people the physical results and feeling of being in control. It is my mission to inspire other foodies out there, that it is possible to lose weight and sustain it WHILST ENJOYING FOOD. It is my mission to help you realise YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN slimming pills and starvation. It is my mission to help you realise YOU ARE ENOUGH whatever size you are and health isn't about being skinny.
