This Could Be You! 

I know right now you might be sitting on the fence,

Thinking about it but yet not taking action. 

Maybe because… 

- You think it’s going to be hard
- You think it’s going to take too long
- You don’t know what to do

And I can totally relate to this,

I’ve been there and most of my clients have been there too before we started working together.

And this is why I share these pictures and stories,

I’m Here to Prove it to You! 

First picture is from the end of April,
I weighed 82kg and it was the end of my “Bulk” and the beginning of my “Cut”. 

Why do I use the brackets? 
Because I don’t really like to use these terms,

Especially “Bulk”, as it can become an easy excuse to just get fat! 

Which is exactly what happened to me…

Looking back at the pictures, I don’t like what I see. 

I feel better when I am leaner than that, When I can clearly see my Abs! 

So I started my Fat Loss phase. 

Picture on the right I am 72kg, so 10kg lighter,
And was the end of my Cut.

And yes, dieting down can be a challenge,
It requires planning and discipline.

But what you gain in terms of confidence is priceless! 

Of course, taking your top off when you’re by the pool becomes exciting instead of frightening,

But what I’m talking about is the sense of accomplishment you experience when you see yourself making progress in the mirror almost daily,

When you can see the signs of your work showing.

Like says,

You don’t build confidence,
You build Evidence! 

Confidence come from stacking proofs that you are who you say you are. 

And, you can start building the proofs right away. 

All it takes is a decision to get started,
The first step. 

If you’ve been thinking about getting leaner and finally have Abs showing, 

All I can say is that YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN! 

I am not special, I am the same as you...

I just believe I can, dropping whatever excuse comes to mind.

Keeping it real…

This is my current condition 3 weeks after the end of my fat loss phase.

Obviously not as lean,
Sitting at around 77kg from 72kg being the lowest during the diet.

And let me tell you, it can be tough to see yourself shredded one day,
And then after few weeks that condition is gone. 

But, my body has certain thresholds and levels it likes to holds onto,
And that’s ok. 

Hunger and cravings were really high at the end of the diet,
The body was craving energy and body fat to re-establish hormone and testosterone levels…

Which can play with you,
If you know you know!

And, I needed a lil break from strenuous training and strict nutrition too! 

Anyway, I am here for the whole process,
The goal is to get better and better over time,

So now we focus on building more muscles in the right places,
And get stronger and fitter. 

The aim is to stay around this body fat and body weight,
As I don’t think there’s too much of a benefit in getting heavier and fatter,

As long as there’s a small surplus and I’m progressing in the gym. 

I have some other personal things brewing as well, 
Maybe I will share them soon…

How To Balance Social Life With Your Fitness Goals

Do you find it difficult to balance your social life with your fitness goals,
Feeling guilty or scared of going out during a fat loss phase? 

I’ve been there! 

Growing up in Italy, majority of our social life is around eating and drinking out.

So how do I balance it with my fitness goals?

It’s pretty simple, you just need a strategy. 
When heading out for a meal with friend,
Understand that it might not be “perfect” but you can still make better choices. 

A portion of grilled meat or fish for your protein,
With as little sauces or condiment as possible,
Veggies or salad to fill you up,
And some carbs like bread o potatoes if your plan normally includes it. 

Same for drinks: you can opt for no alcohol at all, 
which will lower down your calories intake significantly,
And you can go for zero calories soda instead, and of course plenty of water.

Or you can set yourself a limit, like planning on having only one or two drinks instead of indulging in one too many!

Yes, you gotta be strong saying no to temptations, 
And this is where remind yourself of your goal and progress is gonna be key. 

But you can still enjoy your time out with friends or family,
Which is ultimately the goal of going out. 

And if you want to let loose once in a while, you can still do it. 
Just make that part of your plan. 

One higher calories off plan meal out of the many meals you have in the week will have a very little impact overall, 
Just make sure you don’t go overboard and keep it to once a week. 

For the rest, make sure you’re on plan the rest of the time and you will be fine!

Couple of tips:

- Make sure you have the time to dedicate 5 sessions per week consistently
- Get really good at executing each exercise with good form and intensity
- Aim to progress every session by increasing either weights or reps

I wasn’t always confident…

I began my fitness journey because I wanted others to accept me.

But I was the one putting the work,

And that’s when I realised the transformation happening not only outside but also inside.

Discipline built what other people saw,
And also built real self confidence in myself.

If You’re Over 40 It’s Too Late To Get In Shape…

Gentlemen, hope you didn’t believe a word from the above statement 😅 

At 47 years young, Jason had already made some progress on his weight loss journey, 

But he was still struggling to shed those last 20lb 😓

He'd tried everything: 
Strict diets, intense workouts…

But the results were frustratingly slow. 
Can you relate? I know I can! 🙋‍♂️

For the past 6 months,

Another 6 months progress in the books,

But more than anything I’m so happy to see my client Danny feeling confident about his body again and craving for more 💪🏻

Danny came to me after trying to get in shape by himself,
Looking on the internet for different approaches and tactics.

I mean, for some people that can work,
But often is more confusing than productive.

So many contradicting informations that are hard to navigate,
Plus one thing is to read about it,

Another one is to know how to actually apply it.

Since working together Danny was able to drop more than 10kg/22lb of body fat,

While increasing strength and muscle mass,
Resulting in a very strong and aesthetic shape,

Which he is now happy to show at any occasion 😜

Smart and hard training,
Coupled with a structured nutrition was the key for this progress,

Obviously everything was created around his lifestyle and busy work schedule,
Which is key for sustainability.

We are now gonna focus on Phase 2,
Which will see Danny drop the last few kg’s of fat around the stomach and improve certain muscles in the upper body 🔥

We’re both excited about the future progress,
And I know it will be mind-blowing because Danny is a true warrior 🐺

Almost 3 months into this new life in Dubai 🇦🇪

And I feel so grateful and happy about the move. 

I left my home country more than a decade ago,

And for 10 years I lived in London and that became home. 

But since moving my business online, 
I decided to fulfil a dream of mine, 

And explore more of the world. 

Growing up I wondered if I could have lived in the summer all year round 🏖️ ,

As there was a couple running a beach bar where I spent most of summers doing exactly that:

Summer in Italy, 
Winter in Brazil. 

And after a decade living in the most grey city in world (I guess!)

I’m finally living that life myself! 

Maybe not everything you want is achievable…

But most things are, 
All it take is belief, time and of course work. 

Hope you’re all having a great weekend,
