This Friday, July 5th, marks Research Appreciation Day, first launched in 2023 to honour the incredible impact of research in our lives. At ART Health Solutions, we're thrilled to celebrate by sharing some fascinating insights from our recent studies conducted through challenges on our One Wellbeing app. ๐Ÿ“Š๐Ÿ“ฑ

Taking a lunch time walk:
๐Ÿ”น Not only increased exercise minutes during the challenge by 46.7%, but also the week after by 12.9%
๐Ÿ”น Led to 19.7% better energy levels during the challenge, and 8.7% better the week after
๐Ÿ”น Boosted mood by 12.5% during the challenge and an impressive 17% in the week following

The Summer Solstice is a perfect reminder to strive for a better work-life balance. Here are some strategies to help you make the most of your longer days:

๐ŸŒ„ Early light exposure - our data has shown that getting out in the morning for 20-30 minutes at least 3 days a week can improve sleep duration

๐Ÿ›Œ Improve sleep duration - regulates appetite and digestion to fuel performance and enhance productivity (โ„น๏ธ Look out later this week for a post by xx for more information on this)

๐Ÿ“ˆ Enhance productivity - increased daylight will boost your productivity, as our data shows links between increased happiness, higher performance and reduced stress

๐Ÿ˜Œ Reduce stress - active meetings and lunchtime walks increase movement and lower stress levels during the working day

Our recent data has revealed that step count is more impactful for men than women in reducing stress levels. ๐Ÿ“‰

Men who get closer to the goal of 10,000 steps per day experience much greater stress relief compared to those taking fewer steps. In fact, those with fewer than 8,000 steps per day tend to exhibit higher stress levels! ๐Ÿ˜“

Why not try a lunch time walk - our data found an increase in happiness and lower stress reported by those who completed this as a challenge. ๐ŸŽฏ
