Membership of the society is drawn from a wide range of disciplines including medical and paramedical professions, physicists, engineers, nurses, midwives, technicians, general practitioners, vets and others with an interest in medical ultrasound both in the United Kingdom and overseas. The success of the Society stems to a great extent from its multi-disciplinary nature, its regular special topic meetings, its Annual Scientific meeting and its quarterly 'Journal'.

Gynaecology Study Day London 2026 - Here's a glimpse of what you can expect!

📌 Roxanne Sicklen is a clinical specialist Sonographer from Kings College London / Royal Free London NHS Trust, serving as a member of the executive committee for the Association of Early Pregnancy Units (AEPU) and BMUS education. Ms Sicklen will be delivering a masterclass on Ectopic Pregnancy.

📌Rebecca Slough is a clinical Specialist Sonographer with the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with expertise in complex gynaecological ultrasound, particularly deep infiltrating endometriosis and 3D applications. Mrs Slough will deliver a talk on the Application of the BMUS Endometriosis guidelines.
