Sheila Hill, Sound Therapist

Sheila Hill, Sound Therapist I have been using Inner Sound's range of self-help 'tools' both personally and professionally for over 15 years.

Principal instructor for School for Inner Sound in the UK teaching others about the benefits of sound and music as tools for self-discovery and developing human potential I first met Arden & Jack Wilken while traveling in America in the early 80's having been introduced through a mutual friend. Little did i know what an enduring influence they would play in my lives! They began developing INNER SO

UND (1978) as an original system of sound therapy more than 30 years ago and continue their ongoing investigations into the therapeutic benefits sound and music have to offer us today. Incorporating a complementary range of self-help tools - therapeutic music CDs, tuning forks and vocal techniques - Inner Sound is based on a vocabulary of more than 50 'motifs' (specific musical melodies & rhythmic patterns) designed to promote movement and initiate a change within your system - restoring balance to all aspects of the individual, whether physical or emotional, mental or energetic. A fundamental element of Inner Sound's philosophy is supporting personal empowerment, helping individuals transform past experience into creative potential. Our workshops and professional trainings in sound therapy and therapeutic music cover many aspects of developing human potential as well as improving health and well-being. We teach you how to use a range of techniques and sound therapy 'tools' for personal relaxation, healing/transformation or as holistic therapy to benefit others. I brought Inner Sound to the UK in 1996 and am now Director/Instructor of the School for INNER SOUND (UK) and co-founder of the UK's first Sound Therapy Association. INNER SOUND is an inspiration in my life, helping me channel my creativity and remain open to new challenges and opportunities as they arise. If that sounds appealing to you, come and learn more - you could literally change your life!
