As we step into the New Year, we’re reflecting on the many moments shared across our homes over the past year, from everyday achievements to celebrations big and small.

Across Liaise, people we support and teams welcomed the New Year in their own ways, with time together, laughter, and a positive start to what’s ahead. We’re looking forward to another year of shared experiences, new opportunities, and continuing to support people to live life their way.

Winter Wonderland Ice Skating ❄️⛸️

Charlotte and Dan enjoyed a day out at Bognor Winter Wonderland, where they took to the ice for some skating fun. Wrapped up warm and in great spirits, they made the most of the festive atmosphere and enjoyed spending time together out and about.

🎄 A Healthy Christmas Treat 🎄

Sharon and Karen had a great time preparing a Christmas tree fruit platter, using their creativity to turn healthy ingredients into a fun and festive treat. 🍓🍍🍇

It was a lovely way to combine healthy eating with Christmas spirit, showing that nutritious food can still be colourful, creative, and full of seasonal cheer. A simple activity, lots of smiles, and a delicious result for everyone to enjoy! 🎄✨

Lively Christmas Eve Fun 🎄🎶

Christmas Eve at Crossbrook was full of energy as the people we support and staff came together for an afternoon of balloon popping, musical chairs, and plenty of laughter. With prizes for the winners and everyone getting involved, the fun didn’t stop! 🎁

The dance floor soon filled up as the celebrations continued, creating a lively atmosphere and lots of happy moments shared together. A great way to mark Christmas Eve and enjoy the festive spirit as one team. 💃

🎄 Christmas Across Our Homes 🎄

This Christmas, our homes have been full of festive activity, each celebrating in their own way. From decorations and parties to baking, music, visits from Santa and trips out to seasonal events, everyone has been getting involved in what makes Christmas special for them.

Every home looks a little different, every day brings something new, but across them all there’s been laughter, togetherness, and plenty of festive cheer. It’s been great to see people we support and teams enjoying the season in ways that suit them best.

Drama Performance at Bexley Learning Enterprise College 🎭

Last week's drama event at Learning & Enterprise College Bexley was a great success. One of the people we support was supported by staff members, with fellow residents attending in large numbers to watch, cheer him on, and present flowers in appreciation of his performance.

His parents were also there and enjoyed seeing him perform. He impressed the audience with his strong acting skills and beautiful voice, delivering his role with confidence and clarity.

It was a memorable evening that showcased talent, encouragement, and teamwork. Well done to and thank you to everyone who came along to show their support.

Glow Wild Lights Festival Visit ✨

Two people we support went on a trip to the Glow Wild Lights and Music Festival at Wakehurst Place. They explored the Christmas light displays and followed a sensory light trail around the park, taking in the lake, stately home, and festive decorations.

The combination of lights, music, and the beautiful surroundings created a memorable evening filled with smiles and seasonal cheer.

Festive Moments Across Our Homes

The festive period has been well and truly underway across our homes, with people we support enjoying a wide range of Christmas activities and celebrations. From exchanging presents with Santa to heading out to festive markets and meeting local community figures, every day has brought something to smile about.

Homes have been filled with laughter, music, decorations, and shared moments, as everyone has come together to enjoy the warmth and excitement of the season. It’s been wonderful to see so many happy faces and festive traditions being celebrated across all our services.

Sensory Dance and Movement

Across several of our homes, people we support have been enjoying sensory dance and movement sessions. These activities are a wonderful way to explore rhythm, coordination, and expression in a safe and supportive environment.

From lively movements to gentle stretches, everyone has been having fun while engaging their senses and enjoying the music. It’s been fantastic to see the smiles, laughter, and energy these sessions bring!
