here is no doubt many techniques, research and development used in medical advances to improve and save lives over the last Century has had a positive contribution, but is this entirely correct. Check the quote below:
"In fact, the health and pharmaceutical industry hasn’t cured anything since 1950. Think about that. How many billions, even trillions, have gone into research for cures? How many charities exist, collecting money to search for a cure? After all that time and money, nothing has been cured in 65 years? How can that be? If you don’t believe me, look it up. Try to find diseases that have been cured."
Some suggest "A cure will never happen because treating a disease is simply far too profitable"
It's probably more likely that most diseases aren’t well enough understood to enable the rational development of truly trans-formative treatments.
This quote in itself reveals a massive barrier in finding effective 'medicine'. In order to hit the target, sometimes you need to aim your Arrow in the opposite direction. Conventional Drugs have many, many short term benefits, but indeed more negative limitations in our view, especially in regards to side effects.
'Curing' and 'Managing' a medical condition are also not the same.
