Excelcare

Excelcare Excelcare supports over 2,500 people, delivering care that is as individual as the people we care for

Excelcare was proudly established in 1989 as a family-run business. We are still family-run to this day, and instill our family values onto our colleagues, the people we care for, their relatives and friends. As an Excelcare-family, we care for each other, offering support, openness and honesty not only to each other but also to the people who live in our care home and their extended family. We welcome each individual to become part of our family, and each treat each person with dignity and respect, regardless of their age, background or beliefs. We provide high quality, person-centred care at 32 individual and unique care homes situated in Cambridge, Essex, London and Milton Keynes. We also operate a home care service which is based in London.

Today at our Support office, colleagues arrived in their cosiest pyjamas to support BBC Children in Need

Head of Finance, Steve Parker, certainly turned heads in a boldly striped nightgown, complete with a perfectly coordinated cap!

To boost the fun and fundraising, our Chief Operating Officer, Sam Manning, promised an additional contribution to Children in Need for every team member who snapped a photo with Steve and posted it on social media.

Thanks to this, combined with everyone’s incredible generosity, we raised a fantastic total of £200!

We hope this goes some way towards helping children and young people who need support the most.

🎆 Remember, remember the fifth of November… 🎆

Bonfire Night is here, and our care homes are joining in the fun with colourful craft creations, cosy gatherings, and where possible, watching fireworks light up the night sky! ✨

It’s a wonderful opportunity to get creative, share stories, and enjoy the sparkle of the season together.

However you choose to celebrate the day, remember to be safe and wrap up warm to avoid the Autumn chill.
