Excelcare supports over 2,500 people, delivering care that is as individual as the people we care for
Excelcare was proudly established in 1989 as a family-run business. We are still family-run to this day, and instill our family values onto our colleagues, the people we care for, their relatives and friends. As an Excelcare-family, we care for each other, offering support, openness and honesty not only to each other but also to the people who live in our care home and their extended family. We welcome each individual to become part of our family, and each treat each person with dignity and respect, regardless of their age, background or beliefs. We provide high quality, person-centred care at 32 individual and unique care homes situated in Cambridge, Essex, London and Milton Keynes. We also operate a home care service which is based in London.

At last year's CASPA annual ball, our Chairman & CEO, Osman ‘Ozzie’ Ertosun, made a generous donation of £17,000 to support the inspiring work of the Bromley-based autism charity.
CASPA is dedicated to creating safe, supportive, and empowering spaces for autistic people of all ages — helping them build independence, develop life skills, and find a strong sense of community.
Ozzie shared:
“The dedication shown by the team at CASPA, and the experiences they create for people with autism, is something I wholeheartedly support. I’m glad our donation as a family and care provider can help continue their wonderful work.”
On behalf of everyone at Excelcare and the Ertosun family, we’re proud to support such an important cause and look forward to seeing CASPA continue making a difference in Bromley and beyond. 💙

This weekend, 16 incredible members of the Excelcare Family braved mud, rain, and a 5K obstacle course — all in the name of fun whilst fundraising for Cancer Research UK. 🙌
The challenge was inspired by our very own COO, Sam Manning, who took part as a personal milestone and to honour her journey of recovery after a skin cancer diagnosis five years ago.
Sam was joined by her daughter and 15 determined colleagues, all motivated by their own powerful reasons to get involved.
Together, they faced every obstacle with grit, laughter, and team spirit, helping each other through every muddy crawl, climb, and splash. 💦
And the best part? They raised an incredible £1,400 to support life-saving research. 👏
To our amazing Pretty Muddy crew — thank you for inspiring us all.
