🎨 Today’s Arts & Crafts had it all, creativity, laughter, and a rock & roll soundtrack! 🎶
Residents got hands-on with nature, carefully pressing leaves and turning them into beautiful works of art — all while tapping their toes to Elvis and sharing a few laughs over gluey fingers! 🍃💚

Leaf pressing isn’t just fun — it helps with fine motor skills, encourages focus, and sparks wonderful memories and stories along the way. 🌹✨

Yesterday started with music and movement led by Juan - lots of smiles, fun and everyone getting active together. 🎶 ☺
Afterwards, the group enjoyed some fresh air with a relaxing mind workout in the garden, soaking up the sunshine and good vibes. 🧠 ☀ 🍃

Tumble Tower Chaos!🌈

Tension was high. Hands were shaking. Blocks were wobbling. And then... BOOM - the Tower came tumbling down in the most dramatic fashion!
Laughter exploded around the room as Louise proudly claimed, "It wasn't me!" ( We still not sure we believe her! 😂)
It might not have been a world record, but it was definitely a gold medal in giggles!

🗞 Exercise with a twist! 📰

Our recent exercise session brought movement, laughter, and a touch of creativity! From gentle stretches to seated games, everyone got involved - but the highlight of the day? Definitely the "newspaper treadmill!" 🤦‍♂️ 🤣

Residents giggled their way through this imaginative activity - stepping in place while moving strips of newspaper under their feet like DIY treadmill. Who needs fancy gym equipment when you've got teamwork, balance, and a bit of newspaper magic?

Keeping active, staying social, and having fun - that's how we roll!!! 😉 💪

⭐ A special Thank You to St Mary's Primary, Norwood Green ⭐

We'd like to express our sincere thanks to the students from St Mary's School for their warm and cheerful visits over the past months. Their enthusiasm and kindness while joining in games and activities brought real joy to our residents - every visit was a highlight.

We were also honoured to be invited to their wonderful Lion King Production, which our residents thoroughly enjoyed. What a talented group!
As the students move on to new adventures, we wish them all the very best. May they carry forward the same kindness, curiosity, and spirit they shared with us.

A Day to Remember ☺️🎂

Recently, we had the joy of celebrating Laya's 87th birthday, a beautiful moment filled with smiles, cake and heartfelt cheer. It was wonderful to see her surrounded by laughter and love on such a special day. 🎂 🎉

Later in the afternoon, Margaret and Irene enjoyed a fantastic stroll in the garden. The sun was shining, the breeze was gentle and the conversation was full of laughter and little stories. 🌹

Rhythms & Fur - A Day Full of Smiles

We had a double joy at the home today! For the first time ever, the shooting sounds of the tabla filled our lounge during a beautiful Keertan session and our residents were completely captivated by the rhythm and calm it brought.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better... Furry Alert! 🙀 🐶 We welcomed some extra-special visitors-7-week-old puppies, a playful kitten, a cuddly bunny, and more! Residents were all smiles and snuggles as the fluff took over the room.

Music for the soul and cuddles for the heart- just another magical day in our care home.

☺ ☀ Smiles, sunshine & a ginger cuddle buddy 🌻 🐶

This afternoon brought all the feel-good vibes - Louise was cozied up with a ginger fluff friend, both perfectly content in their cuddle bubble. ♥

Meanwhile, Roy got his hands a little dirty (in the best way!) with some sunflower planting His joy? As bright as the blooms he's dreaming of. 🌻 🌱

Fresh air, furry snuggles and big smiles all around - just how we like it! 😂

We went for a lovely stroll on the Green - the Fun Fair is in town and brought all the good vibes with it! The weather was perfect, the air was fresh and our ladies? Absolutely glowing.
You can see the joy on their faces - sunshine and laughter. ☺️
