Bright Future Organisation promotes the Advancement of Education of young people in parts of Uganda especially Northern Uganda through Donations, Sponsorships or Scholarships.
We are supporting and intend to support local community projects:
Clean Water - support the local communities by drilling water boreholes for human consumption, bathing, and general domestic use. Create small water dams and reservoirs for their animals (cows, goats, poultry etc). Even at this time many people have to walk several miles to find water and very often sources for clean water gets worse during annual the dry seasons
Climate Action Projects - educate, promote, and supply the planting of fruit bearing trees, to discourage local people from cutting down trees and prevent their use as charcoal for cooking food; but instead to support, promote and encourage the local people to use dependable and efficient Solar Systems for lighting, cooking and the sustainable energy supply for other electrical dependent equipment such as televisions, computers and fridges.
Funding of Health Centre/ Maternity Hospital - to open, staff and run a Health Centre/ Maternity Hospital for the community. At the moment pregnant women have to travel many miles to the nearest Government Hospital with very little antenatal and postnatal care after giving birth, which often brings health risks to both the women and their babies.
Part of the Hospital will be used as a Medical Centre for educating local people through seminars, lectures, workshops and counselling service for pregnant women, young girls to teach them the importance of knowing the risks of early pregnancy, of good body care especially during menstruation and the supply of sanitary pads for girls. It is also hoped to meet some needs of men and boys to uphold the general health of the community and to keep it strong.
In addition, Bright Future Organisation Ltd intends to fund, open and run a Nursery and Primary school for the local community.
