🏆 The red carpet might symbolise glitz and glamour - but recently it turned into something else: waste.

After this year's Oscars ceremony, rolls of carpet were found in a skip by TikToker Paige Thaile, whose posts describing her rehoming some of it in her apartment went viral.

It’s a reminder that without systems in place, even high-profile materials risk becoming single use.

That’s exactly what our re[TURN]® Reclamation Programme is working to change - giving flooring a planned next life through reclamation, reuse and recycling.

We Want It Back!
♻️ Every EcoWorx®, EcoWorx S® or EcoWorx™ Resilient product can be returned free-of-charge at the end of its useful life to be closed loop recycled into new EcoWorx® product.
♻️ In the UK, we also takeback our TaskWorx® and ComfortWorx® backed product, plus any other brand of carpet tile*, to be given a second life in Housing Associations and Local Authorities through our partnership with

🔎 Sustainability Spotlight: Closed Loop Recycling

Closed-loop means a product is recycled back into the same product - without loss of quality.

Our re[TURN]® Reclamation Programme is an example of this. At the end of their useful lives, we reclaim and recycle EcoWorx® and EcoWorx S® carpet tiles and PVC-Free EcoWorx™ Resilient Flooring back into more EcoWorx® carpet tile.

All in a perfect closed loop.

Resulting in reduced:

Next week, our team is heading to Design Pop-Up Glasgow, where we will be excited to showcase our carpet tile collections, all proudly manufactured in our carbon-neutral factory in nearby Sanquhar.

Marie-Clare Riordan and Michael Gillespie, joined by Shirley Stone , will be presenting some of our latest collections, including Creative Connections and Poetic Form carpet tile alongside Art + Science, the first collection from our PVC-free EcoWorx™ Resilient platform.

🎉 Celebrating global design success

Shirley Stone, Regional Vice President for UK, Ireland and Israel, met with the team at Mehrai Design Ltd at their client, Cain International's office to present their well-deserved award as both regional and global winners in the Shaw Contract Design Awards.

This stunning project created a transformative workplace hub for a rapidly growing, culturally diverse organisation, bringing teams together from previously fragmented floors into one future-proofed workspace.

With adaptability, collaboration and identity at its core, the design was recognised as being able to support both connection today whilst allowing room for growth and evolution in the years ahead.
