Cosmetic dentistry is making a bad smile look great without destroying tooth structure unnecessarily. Here from left to right 1) a non preparation veneer so no tooth was drilled and the veneer was placed on the unprepared tooth 2) veneer to disguise the dark tooth minimal preparation 3 ) An implant crown . Colours were chosen to reflect natural tooth colours after whitening. So no ' turkey ' teeth white shades were used .

Being a cosmetic dentist is not about cutting back 10 teeth and placing 10 very white unnatural' Turkey teeth '. The first picture is after I fitted a crown on a very damaged/ dark root treated tooth . The second is the before . A cosmetic dentist is having the skill to match one tooth to the others. Every tooth has many different colours and textures . This is where skill and experience makes a great job.
