“The Reality of Marriage”
Many dream of perfect marriage; holy and uniting.
Like a whirlwind of adventure - joyful and exciting…
And on this romantic quest of ‘’happily ever after”
They see themselves of great success and abundant laughter!
Nonetheless, when sparks die off and the honeymoon is over
They wake up to realise: marriage’s not a four-leaf clover.
Their spouse is messed up with a lot of traumas,
Their life has been sucked into the lot of “family dramas”.
Arguments, the dirty socks and children’s snotty noses…
The reality of marriage is not a “bed of roses”!
And, although, people yearn for a life-long partner
In times like these, it’s best to have a dedicated gardener!
Someone, who visits your cherished dwelling with care and attention
And maintains the lawns, the flowerbeds and other things without mention.
So you can finally breathe, relax and nurture your inner child:
The child, who will, one day, grow up and go into the wild!
But this time with all the strength, the courage and the wisdom
