📢 The 2025 Behçet's Quality of Life Survey will close tomorrow, Thursday 20 November!

Working in association, the Behçet’s Patients Centres and Behçet’s UK launched the 2025 Quality of Life Survey for patients and members diagnosed with Behçet’s. The 2025 Behçet’s Quality of Life Survey is an online survey; not only will that keep costs of producing the survey to a minimum, it will also allow for the results to be analysed and made available much quicker.

Remember
Behçet’s Support Groups are run by volunteers with personal experience of Behçet’s or long-term involvement in the Behçet’s community. While Behçet’s UK and our volunteers cannot provide medical advice, we can guide you to reliable information. Hearing about what has worked for others can also support your conversations with your own healthcare team.

Our groups offer peer support – stories and tips shared in the groups reflect individual experiences. What works, or doesn’t work, for one person may not be the same for others. You must never delay seeking medical advice, ignore professional guidance, or stop/change your treatment based on information shared in support group meetings.

About Behçet’s UK (formerly Behçet’s Syndrome Society)

Behçet’s UK (formerly Behçet’s Syndrome Society) was formed in 1983 by Judith Buckle (1950-1997).

Behçet’s UK represents all Behçet’s patients in the UK including those yet to be diagnosed. Reducing time to diagnosis is our top priority, reliant upon raising comprehensive awareness of Behçet's amongst all clinicians within NHS primary, secondary and tertiary care.

We strive to secure the best care for all Behçet's patients and assist carers, parents and relatives. We promote research into the cause, effects, treatment and management of this rare, complex and debilitating disease.

Having helped to establish 3 Behçet’s Centres of Excellence in England, we now lobby for proper comprehensive care in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
