When a portrait of a friend and former client, who now resides in spirit appeared on my social media with some notes alongside it, I had to double take. Initially brushing it off as a coincidence, I decided to look a bit closer, as the timing was just profound. When I realised it was a portrait done by my friend and fellow trance medium Miguel Gonzalez, i decided to contact him, sending him a photo of Laura, so he could check himself the resemblance. What led you to draw her I asked? Well he said, I had actually sat down to draw Jesus and spirit said no, and drew this woman instead. I burst out laughing. Well, she's definitely made me say his name a few times...! I started to chuckle and smile. I got the nod and the joke instantly.

Channelling & Spiritual Practice: Exploring your shadow
The Swan:
You are a reflection of your inner beauty. As you move forward in your spiritual transformation, you need to let go of things that no longer serve you.
Beautiful, Bold, Regal. You glide on water and your carry your shadow side with you, as a reflection within the water. As you glide through life, your shadow follows you, creating ripples of distortion in your water. It is laying dormant at a deep soul level, trying to remain hidden, so it can survive. It is tracking your every move, influencing your thoughts, your mind, your movement and expressions. It is unresolved issues and energy, repressed memory, fears, that are waiting to be resolved, dissolved, transformed. By diving deep into your soul and psyche, you can become aware of your shadow and looking at it up close within your dreams, exploring what it represents. By embracing it, loving it, you can realign your thoughts and energy. You can dissolve your fears, move past issues with grace, clear the mind and create and formulate positive new strategies.
Don't let your shadow side weight deep on your soul. Bring it to the surface, where there is life and dissolve your fears, your anxieties. We can all carry weight at time but we can also lift that weight and put it aside.
Write a list of all the things weighing you down and see if you can identify strategies for transmuting that energy into something more focused and positive, letting it go or sending love to it, to dissolve your attachment to it. Watch how much lighter you feel by letting go of it.
