Another absolutely wonderful review of Raising Kids with Big, Baffling Behaviors by Robyn Gobbel - Trauma, Toxic Stress, & Baffling Behaviors!
Raising Kids with Big Baffling Behaviors Book Review
Written by Lauren Lynch, Adoptive Mom and C.A.S.E. Training Coordinator
I have read numerous parenting books, primarily through the lens of an adoptive parent. Some of the books have provided a few helpful tools to try, but I’ve yet to read a book that made me feel so incredibly seen. Non-fiction does not usually lend itself to the “page-turning reads” category, but I could not put this one down. If you think you have read all the parenting books you can or will ever need or haven’t found one to be helpful, do not end the search just yet. I urge you to give this one a try.
Raising Kids with Big, Baffling Behaviors is finally available as an audiobook!!!!
I'll be listening today- will you?!?!
Fun fact about me. I only have one acoustic nerve (in my left ear). I'm completely deaf in my right ear.
One of the weirdest things that happened when I lost the hearing in my right ear at age 22 (and I have no scientific explanation for this) is that I hear my voice the same way you do.
So when I hear my voice - back then, on the outgoing message of my voicemail 🤣 and now, it's on my podcast and audiobook- I don't cringe. My voice just sounds normal to me.
Weird huh???
Have you pressed play yet?!?!? How is it????
