💫 They lives, they lives, and they so much—but who is there for health and care workers when they need support?

👨‍⚕️As a company built by healthcare workers, we understand the sad reality that those who dedicate their lives to caring for others often don’t receive the care they need themselves.

🕊️ Every year we lose an average of four health and care workers per week to ***de in the UK, with over 2,500 lives lost since 2011. That’s 2,500 too many.

❓What keeps us from acting early? Many people believe the “right” time to seek help is when things feel unbearable-when is overwhelming, sleep is impossible, or getting out of bed feels like too much, when our lives are falling apart?

🚫But waiting for a breaking point isn’t necessary. You matter long before things reach that point. Even if it feels like “just a bad day,” that’s reason enough to pause, take care of yourself, and seek support.

👩‍⚕️As , we know that the longer someone waits to seek help, the harder it becomes to intervene effectively. Whether you’re dealing with small struggles or just feeling “off,” your feelings matter. The earlier you act, the better.

🙋 : N = 23,221 (Age = 30, sd = 12, 87% F:M)

🕵️ : This graph shows the relationship between alcohol consumption (as measured by the AUDIT-C) and the severity of symptoms of anxiety (as measured by the mean GAD-7 scores).

Clearly, more pints = worse mental health. Is this causal or just a correlation? 🤔
