Hold space for extraordinary possibilities

Did you know that sound therapy can be good for reframing self-limiting beliefs?

And once you know what could be holding you back - you can begin to dream big. Dream wild. Chase after your goals. Heal. Thrive. Flourish. Even manifest your wildest dreams and keep space for incredible things you can’t even imagine. Who knows what opportunities could come up ✨

Tune in to the Joy of... Sound 🎶
One of my favourite things to do is to introduce new people to the benefits of sound therapy. And I feel lucky each time I’m able to do this. Thanks again .evennett for asking me to answer your questions on this topic that I love 🙂

Forehead kisses and tight hugs ✨
This pandemic has taken a lot from our daily lives, and while those of us who are fortunate not to have lost anyone to this disease, it’s also given other things to us too.
For many however, the lack of touch, of being physically close to others has been really difficult.
And while it may be a bit longer before we can go back to things like forehead kisses and tight hugs, there is a way to make things easier, especially if you live alone.
Deep touch/pressure therapy, which works by sending signals to the brain to tell you where you are in relation to space. It can be deeply relaxing and calming, especially since studies show that a lack of touch is bad news for your mental health.
So how can you hack the benefits at home? Invest in a weighted blanket. This isn’t a sponsored or affiliated post, and it’s not even sound therapy related (hence I haven’t posted about this already), but 1️⃣people keep telling me they are struggling with the lack of touch, 2️⃣a weighted blanket has been my most treasured purchase of the year, so I thought I should share.
The blankets are filled with tiny glass beads to give them their weight, and if you do buy one just remember that it shouldn’t weigh more than 10% of your body weight.

💫
I love this quote. I think it nicely sums up how the way we think and what we say to ourselves can impact everything around us. Do you have a quote or saying that resonates with you for when doubt creeps in?

Practising gratitude is so important for your mental health. And studies show that giving thanks has been proven to make you happier (Harvard says so 🙂)
I try and be thankful for something everyday and encourage you to do the same. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn’t have to be “big” things you’re grateful for - for instance, being thankful for taking a walk in November without getting drenched or having frozen fingers 🥶 works just as well as feeling gratitude for accomplishing a major milestone.
Today, I’m super grateful and outright overjoyed to be featured on Stylist.co.uk 🥰🥰🥰
Posting a temporary link in my bio if you want to have a read ✨✨✨

Are you grounded? 🧘🏻‍♀️
An important element of any sound treatment - especially if your practitioner takes you into an altered state of consciousness (ASC) is to make sure that you’re grounded before you leave.

Finding your focus 🥁
Drums have been used since ancient times in rituals and ceremonies. And no wonder, as repetitive, rhythmic drumming can entrain brainwaves to lead you into a more relaxed state of mind 💆🏻‍♀️
In this deep relaxation, the drum can clear the monkey mind, helping to bring focus and clarity ⚡️
Have you ever tried a drum journey?
