How many essential oils do I need?
Answer is… none, they are not mandatory. You can have a nice massage without them. But so they enhance a massage ? Yes! Do their properties help in a deeper way out well-being? Yes!
Some times one or two is rough as with pregnancy massage or sensitive skins, some times up to 6 when inspiration goes that that way.
Do you use essential oils at home ?
Thursday treatments are still going on regularly and you can book your self directly. Link in bio

This week I’ve been finally inspired to spring clean my website a bit. Some progress made but the main thing is that you can now see the pricing in one place along with the gift vouchers.
Then came across last year’s mother’s day offer. No one took me up on it. I thought of mother’s day vouchers and dates to send a newsletter in case anyone wanted to gift a voucher. And instead ended up reflecting on mothering and on my mom.

I wanted to share this picture of tulip petals , purely for aesthetic reasons, something about the beauty in decay that is not often talked about nor seen.

Anyway, tomorrow is the last day for me to get a gift voucher on time for mother’s day. Just saying 💗✨

Last week I received my first massage of the year. The effects were some apparent immediately, some revealed them selves throughout the week. Some were physical , some emotional, some mental. Mentally I can feel that awareness, not only of the tension held , but of all the things I am doing out of default mode that contribute to my tension or aches.
How many massages will I have this year? Is this something you ever ask your self?
Last year I had more massages than cinema visits, but it wasn’t really that many, by the time I booked my body was so in need. They are a mini reset, a holiday, a necessity, a fundamental self care tool, and yes, some times also a privilege. But I’d be careful to call them a treat. A treat is a dessert, something I want but don’t need. Under the self care umbrella a treat for me is bathbombs in a bath or a pretty candle or an ultra soft pillowcase. Someone deeply listening to the aches of my body and working through mobility of my tissues and easing tensions, it’s a treatment.

How many massage treatments will you have this year?

Been reflecting on international women’s day today, the large majority of clients who come for massage with me are women, maybe it’s the aromatherapy, but bodies are bodies, they carry. I relate to the womanhood experience, talk of cycles and bleeds and parenting and care deeply about pregnancy work and I see the deep imbalances in our society. But when it comes to people’s tensions in their bodies, I see no difference, no gender holds more or less, no body relaxes easier than the other. The uniqueness doesn’t apply. Where I do see the difference is when you ask on medical history. Men often quickly say they have no issues and just want you to get on with it. So women are leading on this type of sef care. So to all then non femme folk out there, book your self a massage, it’s a great moment in the season for it , let go of winter “cobwebs”. For the muscles, for the mind, for the world.
